That article is (literally) littered with references such as "many fans say", "some have suggested" " a source inside the club who wishes to remain anonymous". There is a serious lack of virtually and factual evidence whatsoever and it reads as much more of a personal opinion than anything else.
The talk of relegation being beyond contemplation for most City fans and the thought of having to play Rovers too much for many fans to swallow or whatever? They'd been in the division below for years before he got there (and they may well be on their way back there soon). Expectation levels had clearly been raised though.
And anyone who has been watching football for long enough, knows that a manager of virtually any struggling team is accused of losing the dressing room sooner or later. It's a standard line to trot out really.
I am awae that he did get through a few players in his time there and I think it is clear that he can be an abrasive personality, but for some of you I think this is a piece of writing that just happens to compliment your personal opinions, so you are happy to lap it up.
Oh dear. Nothing worse than a blind fool in denial.

Yeah, off the top of my head, I can't figure that out either.
For a start, I didn't know GJ had a blue eyed boy at the club. I didn't think he really liked any of the players.
A former team mate who arrived at the club after Robinson, I would guess Langmead as they were together at Shrewsbury.

I'd say its to make them known to other clubs that they are available.
There's a whole network for advertising players to other clubs though - this is purely for our benefit and I don't know how it helps? It's just one more thing that isn't his fault...

That article seems to have worrying parallels to what we're seeing, doesn't it?
It seems like GJ takes a while to get going before hitting his stride and doing well but eventually he'll say a bit too much and go beyond the point of no return with his colleagues. Maybe we're going to get the abridged version!
Except that the article is not about the early months of his time at Bristol City, it's all about how things fell apart at the end...so may, or may not, have parallels with our current situation?!

I am a little gutted that Robinson has been made available. Think the lad has ability and should be in this team in my opinion. Seems that if you are not 'in' with GJ then you are gone no matter how good you are. This can be good in some ways but as we may find this kind of disruption and potential in-fighting could put us into further trouble.
Both Turnbull and Robinson should have had more games before being jetisoned. But at least they have had some opportunity. The same cannot be said of Wedderburn or Purcell

You do me a great honour by implying that I am one of the higher forms of life, in possession of a tongue. However, I am but a parasitic worm, happy to suck my host dry before moving onto the next victim/meal.

Wedderburn is pretty average.
So he's only a bit better than the ones who have played this season then ?

Interesting to see and hear our fans' positive reaction to Robinson when he came on yesterday and again at the end. To judge from that, the feelings about how badly he's been treated by GJ are stronger among the travelling support than they are on this board.

Yeah, that definitely came across. Robinson looked pretty taken aback by it at the end.

Robinson is skillful on the ball BUT his final ball is consistantly poor, his tracking back is lazy to say the least AND he has not scored. One of these faults you might get away with but all three? Personally I think his best opportunity is as a right midfielder instead of a striker.
