Who cares?

Actually, I'm quite interested in this. A Youth Team who have been together for a while, coached by a professional football club, vs a club that had to hold trials at Raunds just to get enough players to get 1 team together. Will be interesting to see where we both stand.

Losing to Camb U is poor, to R&D would be worse.

My under 17s team entered this competition and only managed to field 10 men in round 1, we lost 6-2, still i wonder what a team like Northampton would have done to us!

A new ted or the old ted?

If he was born in 1899, I reckon its quite an old TED.  So yes, the old TED. Wink

OK, fair enough, clearly I'm on my own in finding it funny that Rushden's upcoming 'big game' is against our Under 18's in a County Youth Cup. Grin Rushden are gone now, they will never be a threat to us again and I'm past caring about them. They're an insignificant local-ish non-league side, like Brackley Town or Banbury United.

Lol, or does 1899 refer to the number of properties currently held in his name?

If it isn't actually our U18 side then I couldn't give a bollocks, if it is out U18 side then I'd take a passing interest as I do in any of our teams be it juniors, reserves, ladies etc.

Cheers for clearing that up mate, on that basis I don't give a bollocks. It has no relevance to us.

As i said mate, it is not the cobblers. It is the county side, hence the NFA bit.

Seems to be the proper NTFC youth team to me.

Kick-off is 7:45pm. See you all there?

Rushden and Diamonds AFC has nothing to do with Rushden or Irthlingborough or Rushden and Diamonds apart from the name. Oh! they may have received a donation from the old Rushden and Diamonds supporters trust to help them set the club up though. So they have little to do with the old dimlows.

*sigh* how about welcome to the forum?

Anyway I'm not biting - I don't see what that has to do with anything anyway. NTFC youth team are playing, that is the point.
