Why Boothroyd? Does that suggest someone knows something?

He is ex-Pish. Do we want that?

Shoot me for it, but I don't really care about the ex-Pish thing. More to the point, he's ex Watford, Colchester and Coventry, having failed more or less quickly at all three. Can't really think of anyone other than Ian Dowie who has a better/worse record of proven recent failure.

Wouldn't want any of them from the list. Boothroyd favorite? Easily get a Championship job

If you want proven recent failure, I think Gary Johnson is looking for a new job

No weapons intended in my question. I, too, am easy over it. I was just thinking of the petty rivalry between the 2 camps, and the added rise our neighbours will get out of us.

Wonder if there are any conditions about length of contract - could see CC coming back on a very short term deal to steady the ship.

Not sure who I would take off that list Aidy Boothroyd has a good pedigree from time at Watford and Colchester but not do at Coventry, Brian laws would probably split the fans even further, mark copper needs to rebuild his name in nOn league. I still have a fear that Tilson is being lined up

Roly Mills played 300 odd games for us and was at the club 40 years doing one thing or another. His son Gary was born in Northampton and has done a good job at York in a competitive Conference. My money is on Gary Mills to come back to Northampton.

Ive always liked the idea of Iain Dowie, but Steve Tilson on that list!?!? Do me a favour! He successfully achieved what GJ almost done last season and was well on the way to doing this time around....the dreaded "R" word.

Tilson did an unbelieveable job at Southend. Not sure what happened at Lincoln though.
Why so opposed to Ince?

Agreed.Think about what DC has said regarding trying a rookie & experienced manager, not a bad shout in my opinion.Could be some truth in this...

Iain Dowie after Northern Ireland job, I like his style of management. Hard man who speaks truth and gets results
However, I still want Calders
