If my memory serves me right one time Cobblers Goalkeeping Coach Nigel Spink made his first senior debut replacing Jimmy Rimmer for Aston Villa in the 1982 European Cup Final

Do you know what "Nemesis" means?
A righteous infliction of retribution manifested by an appropriate agent personified in this case by a sex starved voyeur that is Tyro.

Just had a look on the Spurs website to see what it said about Jansson.
Spurs website says "He made 10 starts for our Under-18s, including one in the FA Youth Cup, and forced his way into reserve squads during that first half-a-season without making his debut at that level. He continued to train regularly with the First Team group as the 2008/09 campaign began. For our Under-18s he remained first choice throughout the 2008-09 campaign."
It makes for interesting reading. Whilst Sammo says that Walker has only played 3 first team friendlies in his short career it would appear that Jansson has not played any first or reserve team football for Spurs, and has only made 10 youth team appearances.
I think Walker has played youth team football from an early age and has made a number of reserve team appearances and for the Cobblers. And played a number of pre season sessions this season and last season. To me it would seem that out of the 2 keepers, Walker is the more experienced.

No, because Jansson has played first team football with Exeter City in League One last season, therefore he's got league experience and Walker hasn't.

And he's probably playing against a better standard of opposition in the Spurs reserves than Walker is in ours.

I understand people wanting our young lads to establish themselves in the side and do well but let's face it the last thing we want is another Dunn scenario where the inexperienced player makes mistakes and the fans get on his back.

Walker is 5ft 11in and still has some growing to do. The club want to protect him as much as possible during this period

Anyone seen Jansson's interview on Cobblers Player? For someone who has only been in this country three years his English is remarkably good, so at least there won't be any kind of language barrier to hamper his communication with the defence.

I listened to the interview and yes he speaks very good English.... What I do find funny is that he obviously has a Swedish accent but he definately seems to be picking up a bit of cockney as well

He hasn't played for Spurs reserves!
