In shock this morning after reading this.
This guy is an old neighbour of mine and a nicer guy you wouldn't meet. Leeds mad and always chatting about the Cobblers fortunes.
I do hope this isn't true.

If it is then nothing would suprise me from now on!  Undecided

I hate these sort of news stories. I've no idea of the facts in this particular case so I'm not going to comment on it directly, but for me in these instances both the accuser and the accused should be afforded the same right to anonymity.  If they are found to be guilty then plaster their name and likeness all over the papers, hell, tattoo the word "Rapist" on their forehead for all I care but up until that point it isn't right that they are named like this. Even if they are found not guilty or it doesn't get to court there's still a certain stigma attached to the poor sod afterwards.

Lazy journo's, will always go for the one stand out element about someone. Whether it is their job, hobby etc. I guess that the (alledged) crimes are heavily linked to his time travelling to watch Leeds too. I'm surprised they didn't pick up he did some part time acting as an extra!

The jury is now out and deliberating. Still in total shock over the whole story. You think you know someone.....guilty or not, he is not the person I thought he was. He was remanded back in April.
It's been big news up in Leeds as he is well know as the yellow peril. I feel so sorry for his wife and kids.
I'm just pleased that I moved when I did!

No verdict reached. Remanded with a potential retrial.
