Have they been banned at Sixfields or are we hoping some are brought to help create an atmosphere?  Tongue

Well I think it's a bit silly that all these football league clubs with small match day support (including us) are banning the vuvuzela.

Its not like 4,000 people were gonna turn up with them. Surely if they ban these they have to ban the air horns and other noisy horn like things that I have seen kids with at Cobblers matches.

I understand people don't want to be subjected to a swarm of bees for 90 minutes but have some sense. At the first idea of someone taking a drum it was shot down on here as a bad idea.

I went to some of the world cup games and they contributed to the great atmosphere. I know they sound annoying on tv but they're great in the ground. Try it first and ban it if it's bad. Unfortunately can't see games as often as I'd want but from what I hear the atmosphere needs reviving.

People are concerned it will drown out the chanting and you won't be able to hear the terrace banter.

I'd give them out free at the turnstiles.
