Well it all seems to be hitting the fan for those in charge of the Zamaretto League now, with conspiracy theories and accusations regarding the deduction of points for the fielding of ineligible players back in November only being deducted now.

Following my last post yesterday saw Arlesey win the league again with a 1-0 victory at Hitchin in front of over 1500 fans, almost 4 times Hitchins average gate - Arlesey average about 100!

Hitchin now meet Slough in the play off game this Thursday.

A Sam Reed strike cemented Bury Town's place in the Ryman Premier league playoffs where they take on Lowestoft at home on Tuesday night.

Tonbridge v Harrow is the other semi.

If Tonbridge win, the final will be there, if Harrow win the final will be at the winners of Bury v Lowestoft.

Would be a superb achievement if Bury could get back to back promotions!

Gloucester had another season of mid-table mediocrity, 14th of 21, 15 points above the drop. Came back from 2 goals down to draw 2-2 with second placed AFC Telford. Then beat Droylsden 4-2. Under the guidance of Dave 'Boris' Mehew, the tigers have had a good season including a unlucky 1-0 away loss to Luton in the FA Trophy. Smiley

The season is over for Bury Town who lost 2-1 at home to Lowestoft in the Ryman Premier play offs in front of 1450 fans at Ram Meadow last night. A great first season at step 3 though but it just wasn't to be.

Lowestoft now face Tonbridge Angels away in the play off final.

Well mine is Dartford FC (my home town), currently on the long haul back from near oblivion and just having finished their first season in the Blue Square South with a respectable mid-table finish. Next stop Conference hopefully.

It has to be "B"
Another big smile on my face. I always get the big decisions right.

Couldn't be happier, you can all blame me if it turns pear shaped. Up next year without a doubt and no need of the play-offs.
