Following my last post yesterday saw Arlesey win the league again with a 1-0 victory at Hitchin in front of over 1500 fans, almost 4 times Hitchins average gate - Arlesey average about 100!
Hitchin now meet Slough in the play off game this Thursday.

Update - Hitchin recorded a 4-1 win, coming from behind in front of 602 supporters. They now host Daventry in Mondays final, after they beat Biggleswade 2-0

Salisbury beat Cambridge City 1-0 in front of a crowd of 1100 & now travel to Hednesford on Monday who beat Leamington 3-0 for a place in the Conference north/south

Tonbridge v Harrow is the other semi.

Gloucester had another season of mid-table mediocrity, 14th of 21, 15 points above the drop. Came back from 2 goals down to draw 2-2 with second placed AFC Telford. Then beat Droylsden 4-2. Under the guidance of Dave 'Boris' Mehew, the tigers have had a good season including a unlucky 1-0 away loss to Luton in the FA Trophy. |

The season is over for Bury Town who lost 2-1 at home to Lowestoft in the Ryman Premier play offs in front of 1450 fans at Ram Meadow last night. A great first season at step 3 though but it just wasn't to be.
Lowestoft now face Tonbridge Angels away in the play off final.

Well mine is Dartford FC (my home town), currently on the long haul back from near oblivion and just having finished their first season in the Blue Square South with a respectable mid-table finish. Next stop Conference hopefully.  |
