One for the statto's. When was the last time we were bottom at Christmas and was is the success rate for teams staying up in this position?
Having not been as much this season (a GJ hangover) I am feeding off the wave of AB optimism that this a a transitional phase and that everything is going to be fine. If the previous joker was still here there is little doubt in my mind that we would have been spanked in every game by 3 or 4. I just hope that the steps being put in place sort out the mess created last season come to fruition.
It's still a worrying sight looking at the table. With three very tough games to come, if our luck and inability to pick up points continues, then Barnet at home (with our new look settled squad) at the end of Jan will be huge.

After NYD last year

http://www.ntfc.co.uk/page/LeagueTable/0,,10425~20110101,00.html

Both Hereford and Barnet stayed up.  Lincoln 22 and Stockport 17 went down.  Most impressive was Stevenage who shot up from 17th to the play-offs.  The league looked a little tighter last season though.

in 2010 after 28/12/2009 - Grimsby and Darlo were in the bottom two and both went down.

That's really good research to be fair.
Can anyone find out who the last chairman before David cardoza was to oversee ntfc as the 92nd best team in the football league?
I think it may have been michael mcritchie but I'm not sure.

Great site, hadn't seen it before or could have answered my own question.
Some real anorak reading material in there.
2003-04. York were 10th at this stage and only collected 8 more points for the rest of the season, finishing bottom.

No need to panic (yet by any means), play offs anyone?  Tongue

Last man at the top when we were bottom? Ellis maybe?

Things can and will get better. Boothroyd  will turn things around. The change is there to see now, we will climb up the table, say to 9th or tenth, consolidate our position, then we may push for promotion next season. Just wait and see. I have seen it before and God willing, I will see it again. COME ON COBBLERS!
