From official club text... Jacob's to start and some other changes, Thornton feels better but not sure if he's fully fit yet. Hinton running again but Dunn a few weeks away.

They also lost 3-0 last game, so not all hope is lost.

Lets be honest with ourselves - does anyone care if we win this?

A good cup run may allow an increase in our wage budget to get in that desperately needed Forward.

Definatley up for this....a winnable match imo with the newbies coming in from the start they are either going to be hungry and put on a show for us....or they will not have gelled yet and we'll lose.
Either way...I'm looking fwd to seeing the first home game and would love us to do one on Brighton for a change!

Away to any local ish Prem or championship side in round two would be great news!

better call off all the games then this season, in case this happens.

and while you are doing that, can you call up bernie ecclestone and cancel the F1 season.

Oh come on. A second round Carling Cup 3.0 defeat to Wolves reserves versus 3 pts against Accrington? I know which I'd choose. Looking forward to the JPT as well. The fact is, that even at League 2 level, league points are everything. And I don't think 25k in gate receipts is going to get us a miracle striker.

Why can't we just win both games? If we beat Brighton, are we atomatically going to lose at home to Accrington?

I certainly care. I'm looking forward to the team getting 90/120? minutes under their belt to help rid them of any memory of saturdays debacle in preperation for our first home league game on saturday. I would have thought anyone who made it to Bolton and Sunderland would want us to get further in this cup.

What team would people go with tonight?

I'd look to start with the 4-3-2-1 formation and go with:

GK Jansson
RB Johnson
LB Hall
CB Beckwith
CB Holt
CM Osman
CM Wedderburn
CM Thornton (Or Gilly if unfit)
RW Mckay
LW Jacobs
CF Purcell
