but he's every right to keep repeating his message in the hope he wins people over to what he clearly sees as the right way to take NTFC forward, even though others may disagree. Viva Shoey!
You are all forgetting I started my post by saying Shoey is entitled to his opinion. It's the repetition on every thread that is my issue.
Anyone suggesting that just because I am in the Trust means I follow DC's words blindly does not know me, or indeed the Trust. Ask DC himself whether I am willing to challenge his actions or not.
I would even give some credence to Shoey's diatribe IF in constantly complaining he came up with an alternative plan. Exe, you say "he clearly sees the right way to take the club forward" but please refer me to any post where he comes up with a 'credible' alternative that does not involve DC investing further millions which in itself guarantees nothing other than putting us further and further in debt to him.
There were a lot of mistakes made in the first few years of DC's time here. I am not convinced they were always of DC's making but more of the advice he was given. Most recently I really don't think DC can be blamed for the chaos GJ has left us in, after all the vast majority were very much in favour of GJs appointment and DC DID financially back him.
Imo DC could not have made a better choice than appointing AB. Many of the problems facing our club right now are not unique to us, try asking Port Vale or Darlo fans for example.
Focusing on HISTORY, whatever our opinion on it will not get us out of this mess. Focusing on the job in hand, and that includes giving our morale as well as physical support, for the next 20 games is what is important. I am not a football manager, I don't think I know the answers based on some pc game. Therefore, for now, I have to keep faith in the Manager and Chairman we have. To even suggest a change at this point in time is ludicrous imo, let alone the concept of trying to build an anti DC following.
I happen to believe if anyone can get us out of this mess AB will. There is no denying our football has improved significantly and very quickly under him. We played top of the table on Saturday and for the most part we matched them, we did not have the best of luck. We beat a team in the mix in the top half of the table last weekend. There are 60 points still to be had, we won't get all 60 but hopefully we will get enough to survive.
I believe that DC is and has been genuine in wanting the best for this club, after all its in his best interests to do so. I am far less worried about the past than I am about the future of this club if we drop in to the conference and DC walks away. I will remain so until such time as Shoey or anyone else comes up with a credible alternative.
So, I don't know how the rest of the season will pan out but I do feel strongly that now is not the time for losing faith and particularly not for encouraging unrest or negativity.
