Put your suggestions for a unique tune (i.e not an anthem of another club) for the Cobblers to run out to. I'll collate all the suggestions and then put the better ones up for a poll vote. Mine would be http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9_4Q2KyCr54&feature=related

A version of 'Boots are made for Walking' that has the chanting/singalong/chorus bits prominent.

I put on one of the other threads about finding what the players are listening to (most clubs alternate which player chooses the music, anyone know if we do this). Then whatever album they are listening to pick a track from that album as they come out to continue the theme and create a link from the changing rooms to the pitch and us fans.
This does assume however that a) the music is good b) is suitable for all ages and beliefs!

I'm sure one of our more able bards can come up with better words for the Sailor "Glass of Champagne" melody (I may even give a prize to the best one). But, regardless, this song has the required energy, the right sentiment, and a football crowd doing the backing vocals:

....and the winner is : Devo "Human Rocket". Meets the criteria of uplifting & high energy throughout, and some of the words even tie in with what we expect from our heroes. Please give it a listen.
