One of the best pieces of music I've heard teams run out to was at Rotherham (I think) a few years ago where they came out to Ride of The Valkyries. I've heard this at a few grounds but in this instance they started playing it a couple of minutes before the teams came out and then let it build up until the teams ran out as it hit the crescendo. It made the hairs on the back of your neck stand up and was almost gladiatorial. Maybe throw in a burst of those fizzing firework fountains as the players emerge from the tunnel too if the budget will stretch to it!

Agreed. I'd like us to go with something stirring and classical. What did we run out to during the Atkins 'Bristol Rovers a Home' era? That was definitely the high point at Sixfields atmosphere wise.

Something like this would be awesome - how it builds up, and then the team run out.

But as I've said on another thread the team doesn't run out anymore.

They wander out, stand in a line and then shake hands. After that they run/walk to their end. You need something that really creates a dramatic atmosphere as it builds up to a crescendo. I must admit I like parts of the Mozart piece for this. Shame its called 'Requiem of a dream'.

These BOOTS are made for walking.

Agreed, far from my favourite tune but upbeat and relevant.

Especially the line 'One of these days these boots are gonna walk all over you' because one of these days, I'm sure we will get a home win.  Wink

It's much easier to just ignore him you know. Then he'll get bored and stop. Keep feeding it and it'll keep coming back for me. Simple really.

This one is more than apt.

It's one where you can lower the volume to read out the teams, then crank it back up just before kick off
