The word that springs to mind today is 'abject'. He shirked every challenge, gave up on every loose ball and looked as disinterested as I can remember seeing a player look during a game. Admittedly, he wasn't helped out much by the players around him but we need people who will dig in for us at the moment. The lad has undoubted talent but judging from today's showing he needs to work on the mental aspects of his game.

I agree. Followed him at close quarters in the 1st half (from the left side of the North Stand looking towards the pitch) and his body language was all wrong time and again. Towards the end of the half he had a marvellous chance to have a shot at a ball bouncing slowly at a convenient height across his path no more than 10 yards out and he just watched it pass him by and sort of shrugged his shoulders. Plenty of potential but very poor today. Probably our worst performer.

Ben tozer lshould start next week in midfield. Let's keep it right and toughen things up...he's been good coming on these last 2 games.
Id also start Robinson alongside Bayo up top.

BUILD THEM UP TO KNOCK THEM DOWN Any player who has done well, received a lot of praise or is showing potential will be criticised for showing anything other than an amazing performance. Will make comments like 'yes but he misplaced a pass in the 32nd minute'. Main target - Jacobs Future target - Silva Favourite player - Holt

He was utter garbage today. Looked like he couldn't give a chuff and should've been subbed after about half an hour.

Totally agree. At best an impact sub? We require a more athletic team ethic to get out of the current situation.

Im annoyed that AB didn't learn from Tuesday. I even started a thread about this prior to the Macc game. He should be a sub end of. Its not rocket science; he's just a kid spoiled by the glory potential at Anfield. He should have/be eased into things...

Just me who thinks we might have been a bit premature in geting him for the season?

No I think he's a good option off the bench, better option than Lewis Young but to thrust the lad into the starting line up, he's not ready.

A few of us were calling for that yesterday - I still think it's the correct way to use him. He's only a young kid and I think there's an unrealistic set of expectations about him because of his cameo vs Wimbledon. I'm pretty sure he'll have an integral part to play - but shouldn't have a lot of pressure put upon him.

Fledgling winger looks lightweight and lacks consistency after impressive cameo debut.
Shock!!

Exactly, that burst into the box against Wimbledon is getting a bit old now. We might as well stick with Young.

Very disappointing today, he certainly doesn't seem to be relishing the rough and tumble of League 2!

He's young untried and inconsistent. That said he still has more natural ability than anyone else at our club. I'm sure he will show flashes of brilliance during his time here. After a good bollocking for today's effort we may well see a different player next time out.
