Brilliant. Knocked out in front of 6000 people, all paying half price.

We do seem to get a rough ride with draws these days. Have we actually had anyone decent since Man U? When was that 2003? Bolton away was a good night, West Ham will always be one to remember for me!!

What a poxy draw!

Oh well, save me having a day off I suppose.

Strange how throughout history we get to meet the same teams all the while. Reading are the third most team we've played, this will be our 125th encounter, which incidentally is one more than Brighton. So, it doesn't matter we're not in the same division, fate has it that we'll still end up playing each other.

Maybe we should release a new strip, just for this one cup tie to celebrate those 125 games?

Rubbish draw. I wanted a Prem club up here in the north west

Not the worst draw ever and no reason why we can't go and win there and get a decent 3rd round draw.

I have vague memory of an absorbing 0-0 draw there, one which meant a lot at the time.

Yes...that was the time i went too - season 01/02 if my memory serves me correctly! We were struggling against relegation and were all very chuffed with our result until we left the game to discover every other b@st@rd team in the bottom 4 had not lost either!!

I wont be bothering with this - If there's one thing i do remember, its how steep the stands were and being a sufferer of vertigo, this is not ideal after a few drinks!!  Wink

Think I'm unbeaten there, first match was an entertaining 1-1 draw when Forrester and Howard caused 'em loads of problems, second match we didn't get out of our own half once but managed to cling on for 0-0 which was a vital point at the time in our battle against the drop. Not the kindest of draws, but nice ground and knowing Reading they'll probably throw a few academy kids on so we've got half a chance.

I have a reason. they beat Torquay, who annihilated us. and to whatever said it was better than getting a team from our own league, no it isn't. we'd stand a chance of beating a team from our own league. reading'll play kids and as we know from experience their kids seem to be pretty handy.
