I was one of three at a friendly away to Petersfield to celebrate the signing of Darren Collins.  Must have been in 1988 or 1989.  I think it was Bobby Barnes' first game for us.  He introduced himself to me in the bar after the game, whereas the others just assumed I'd know who they were.  He was drinking Guiness, but I don't know why I remember that.  I had a nice chat with Martin Singleton (my favourite player at the time), but I think he was still injured at the time.  Ah, memories.

Bobby Barnes, Darren Collins, they don't make em like that any more.  That may be a good thing, I dunno...
