I'm sure someone once said on here they were part of an away support of 7 at Hartlepool of all places once.

I was one of three at Readings Madjeski Stadium for a Reserve match a few years back.

I considered going and now I've reconsidered and come to the conclusion that I'm not going to bother.

I was one of three at Readings Madjeski Stadium for a Reserve match a few years back. I was one of three at a friendly away to Petersfield to celebrate the signing of Darren Collins. Must have been in 1988 or 1989. I think it was Bobby Barnes' first game for us. He introduced himself to me in the bar after the game, whereas the others just assumed I'd know who they were. He was drinking Guiness, but I don't know why I remember that. I had a nice chat with Martin Singleton (my favourite player at the time), but I think he was still injured at the time. Ah, memories.

Singleeeeee Singleton-ton-ton. Great song. Bobby Barnes, Darren Collins, they don't make em like that any more. That may be a good thing, I dunno...
