Piermario Morosini, 25, dies after suspected heart attack on the pitch in Serie B match for Livorno at Pescara. He was on loan to Livorno from Udinese. All games called off in Italy this weekend. My thoughts are with his family RIP. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-17714715

I found this on the internet:
We would like to take a moment to mention our respect for Antonio Di Natale, the... Udinese captain, who has taken guardianship of the handicapped sister of Piermario Morosini.
From Di Natale - "I will be there to help his sister, not just for a day, but for her whole life. The girl needs us. This is for her and for Mario. I will ensure that the sister of Piermario is not abandoned. She has already lost everybody"
Piermario had lost both of his parents before the age of 18, and his disabled brother committed suicide shortly after their father's death in 2003.
Morosini assumed both financial and emotional responsibility for his sister and now Di Natale has taken on that task.
The world could use more people with the kind of character these men have displayed, and for that we acknowledge and thank the actions of Di Natale and pay tribute to the far too short life of Morosini.
If this is true what a top geezah...

I read about his parents and brother dying and that he left a sister behind, but I'd no idea she was handicapped or about Di Natale stepping in. What an unfortunate family, though; you wouldn't believe that much tragedy could strike such a small group of people in such a short space of time.
