Purcell was headlined as this summer's "big signing" for us so it is an odd one when the transfer listed and consistently disappointing Guinan starts ahead of him.  I don't see Guinan being able to provide the 15-20 goals needed from a promotion side forward. No goals in open play from him since last November according to the radio yesterday.  I think we are going to struggle to make the top 7 in this league until Sammo signs a forward with pace and power.  As others have pointed out, there is a lack of pace in the side (Davis is the only exception and he is injured far too often).

I have to go back to Cobblers Corner forum and then click on the page number from there because I still can't see the links about the bottom of each page!

If you look at the bottom left and right of the posts on the slightly bluish background you should be able to see on the left the page numbers and on the right 'previous and next' written in white similar to what you would find on all good boards.
We know that they are not easy to see but the administrators are attempting to change the colour clash, bear with us.
If you put your cursor over them, it will change to show that there is a clickable item.

But that doesn't solve the problem of reading pages 3 to 7.

Gotcha, thanks. Surely it would be easy to put it on the same sort of background as the 'reply / new topic' and 'link to calender' parts.

It would, but it obviously isn't 'easy' or it would have been done by now?  Wink

As I said bear with us.
