Correct me if I'm wrong, but can't you listen to Radio Northampton online, for free? Beggars can't be choosers. We're a leage 2 club, with league 2 coverage.
Except they're not beggars, they've paid £30 for it. |

It's traditional for fans to hate their local commentators, but be fair there's a lot worse than the mighty Geoff Doyle and Tim Oglethorpe.

What's wrong with the BBC/Sports football sites as they give written commentary, or can you only get that in the UK?
Checked tonight, yes I can get that thank you, but if I am paying £30 or whatever it is for Cobblers World I would expect to be able to receive what I am paying for? Just been onto the Offy site and can now see the written commentary from the match as well!!  Is this a freeby to encourage subscription? |

I normally use Sporting Life for their updates, but early doors tonight there was nothing there (its working now) and on Saturday they never acknowledged Bury's equaliser. Whilst its nice to think that your team has won, its not so good to find out they haven't when you think they have. |

Yeah you're right mate Sportinglife today stopped working after 60mins so I though it was 1-1 FT. I just happened to check the C+E chat stream and and noticed it was 3-3..wankers anyway I tuned into CW for Extra time and Pens |

Stanley's website is very poor, but Stevenage's is the worst FL website I've come across so far. We're lucky to have a nice, tidy, orderly website and actually have Cobblers Player/World as an option because many other clubs don't. That still doesn't justify the poor service you often get from CP/W though. |

Live text chat thingy on The Chronny website was pretty good last night, it did play up at times and you couldn't get your comments on but the guys doing the live updates did a good job.

The WiFi at the Madejski was very up and down, which is made it impossible for us to approve comments (they all have to be approved before going on due to libel etc), but I'm glad you enjoyed it. We'll be doing the same at Hartlepool for those who can't make the trip...

On a slightly diferent note, I use the clubs official text service and altough I got the usual goal times/scorers and a brief description of the goal I got a text saying the full time score was 3-3 it never mentioned that the game went penalties and never even sent a text saying we won on penalties... Its a good job I had SSN on

I didn't realise. I've heard them say you can listen to kettering online, so presumably it's a football league restriction. If cobblers world is the only way to listen to matches if you're outside of the FM signal it's terrible that it doesn't work.
