Welcome back to the Football League York City after beating Luton 2-1 at Wembley today. A father and son who go in our local are big Luton fans and I feel a bit sorry for them ,but a day out in York or a day out in Luton ?? No brainer

Also happy to see York back in as I will go to York but wouldn't have gone to Luton.
Won't be many more visits to Bootham Crescent though, last week they got planning permission for a new out of town community stadium/retail development.

Even better that their winning goal was miles offside Hate Luton & their smug prick manager Buckle... Hopefully, Buckle will now act on his desire to prize Jakey Robinson to Kenilworth Road.....PLEASE!!! Well done York City!

Especially for Gary Mills the York City manager who hails from Northampton.

Remember Marco Gabbiadini has a hotel/B&B in York

Do you know what "Nemesis" means?
A righteous infliction of retribution manifested by an appropriate agent personified in this case by a sex starved voyeur that is Tyro.

Yes - glad to see York come back. From an economic point of view we would get more from playing Luton at sixfields than York - but what the hell, if you can't take a bit of pleasure out of your rivals misfortunes .....!

Don't think there's many tears being shed around the football family that Luton aren't returning to the FL anytime soon.

Back in the autumn there was a possibility that Chris Doig was looking to get fixed up at Sixfields. Six months later he has two Wembley winners medals in the space of a week. It's a funny old game as they say and I'm really pleased for him. A top CB IMO.
Congrats to York. Bootham Crescent will be a deffo on my away list. As for Luton, they need to get some humility. They see themselves as the Man U of the non League and end up heaping pressure on themselves every season and are hated by many non League fans for their arrogance. Yes they are a big club but they won't get back until they change their mind set.

I'm assuming your comments are based on personal opinion rather than fact. All of the Luton fans I've spoken to (and that is a lot) and if you read their web forums most posts, acknowledge that despite a crap decision from the linesman were the beaten by the better team on the day. All season they have been complaining about the lack of quality in the team - just like we did under GJ. It has nothing to do with mind set, they simply weren't good enough on the pitch. At non-league level, Luton do have a massive following often having at least 50% of the gate at away games and this naturally makes it a Cup Final for everybody they play.
