I'm living in cloud cuckoo land here, having watched the mighty Lionel at the gardens
I was stood on the pitch admiring the saints ground before he rocked up, and how wouldn't it be just perfect for the cobblers, the saints can have sixfields for all I care and develop it into a lovely 25k stadium, in my mad simplistic world this makes perfect sense!
Surely it's that simple right!?
The Saints ground is perfect for them, 15500 capacity that may be a little on the small side for them but almost pefect and regarded as best purpose built rugby ground and sporting venue going.
Sixfields could quite easily be transformed into the football equivalent as its location is excellent has plenty of parking, lots of pubs and resturants nearby, sadly its just underdeveloped and only half a stadium.
What it needs is as many corperate boxes fitted into the shell, bars and restaurant and the cladding completed.
Then to give it a look of a real football ground, construct 2 banks of terracing up behind the North and South stands transforming the ground into one of the best must visit stadiums in Britain.
Most importantly making it a very acheivable and being built over 5 seasons thus making it a sustainable redevelopment and one that finally allows our town to be proud of and one that allows the club to grow and play and compete outside the fourth tier of English football.
