This is exactly the case GPC. The plans are completed in principle although at this point there is a lot of intellectual property attached referencing other established and recognisable businesses and companies which obviously needs editing. The artists impression also need to be uploaded to a digital format.
Its quite difficult for me to sit on my hands, especially when I read some of the frustrated comments but its only here where I have posted suggestions (badly!) and only to let you all know something positive is being worked on in the background. I am guilty of getting excited, although Evers suggestion is a little back to front, in that the plans are here and in reality were never going to be available until the New Year.
From my perspective as a professional in F&B, hotel acquisition and management but also a Cobblers fan every element makes commercial sense to optimise what is an unusual parcel of land (behind the north stand) not available to private investors, and that is the key.
As you allude to a majority of this project will need to be public/crowd funded, this is paramount to ensure profits are driven into the club/community and not back into the deep pockets of an individual or consortium.
Launching such a visible and exciting entertainment/hospitality/community project off the back of a promotion will make a huge difference, so maybe the timing will be perfect.
Until you post the plans/drawings/even sketches and how you propose to raise the finance, however please try to avoid (mainly) relying on crowd funding. You are right to suggest that dribs and drabs of half baked info is not the proper way to proceed in an orderly manner! In order to galvanise the support the plans need to be presented for public debate. Perhaps a date can be advised on actual publication?
