So, on a scale of 1-10, how confident are you of that happening?

I'd say 10. The question is "when?"

Funny how re-development restarts and the regulars are finding the next big thing to sharpen their knives for... Tongue

You're 100% confident that, under the current ownership, one or both of the North/ South stands will be re-developed to provide a stadium with a capacity of 10,000+?

I really do hope that you are right and I am wrong.

Of course, an East Stand developed to the original plans could also have done that, if you're looking for signs.

they first spoke to buckinghams about the stadium before 2008 so that means nothing. as proved time and again during this debacle, talk is cheap

If they had spent the 11th lion on the original design the same said people would moan there was no money left for the hotel and conference centre

No they wouldn't. Oldhams stand cost £5.7m. That's all they needed to do. Leaves over £6m for a hotel (where is it?)

Not really, pal. We're still waiting to see what we get for 7.5 million. Of course there'll still be plums on here defending the final structure, even though others are getting far more than us for under 6 million.

I'm in the process of selling some beach side property in Birmingham, I wondered if you might be interested.

MK cost anywhere between £30-50m depending which site you look it up on.
The redeveloped Sixfields must be around £18m (exc inflation), I'll be happy with something half as good.
It's exciting to see people actually working on it and should be a prettier view by August. I agree that it should be on a par with Oldham. We're just missing the fancy video.

What we are all forgetting is that on many levels with this development Cardoza has already delivered. New changing rooms, new box office, new speakers and brand new seats for everyone as promised... oh no the seats didn't happen did they. But the corporate boxes in the West did, ah hang on they didn't either did they.

Funny how Cardoza thought he could do 18 months work in 5, ironically it's probably worked out that 5 months work will take 18!

Still the players have new changing rooms and we have brighter floodlights.

They turned the ticket office around 90 degrees.

Must have cost a few million.

Don't forget the big screen either!   Needs better graphics as I don't like the current ones and think they are trying to be too clever!

Nice.

If you want to get into the detail, Watford also had hugely complex demolition issues around the old structures, access down a road barely wider than a footpath between the old structures and neighbouring gardens and they were doing the work in-season as well so it was a much longer time project than ours needed to be - all of this drove up costs.

But just stick to abuse by all means if that's your level.
