Oh please! One's an unforgivable slip...you are just being outright pedantic!
No need to apologize. There wasn't a lot wrong with your classification

Anyway, the new owners have just pitched camp in the car park.
Probably the directors of the newly-formed County Scrap Metal Recovery Ltd

You're right, 'your' is a possessive adjective. But if you want to be pedantic about it: Possessive adjectives still fall under the banner of possessive pronouns. 'Yours' would be considered an absolute possessive pronoun In the spirit of your post you shouldn't start a sentence with a coordinating conjunction, namely 'but'. You should only use a colon between a grammatically complete introductory clause and a final phrase or clause that illustrates, extends or amplifies the preceding thought. I love google.

I was hoping something would have come back by now. I'm quite disappointed. Especially as it was the club that generated the Q&A idea.

I would guess that DC didn't expect that there would be questions among them that would be quite so difficult to answer, that the level of awareness around 1st Land etc would be quite so high as it is. I think he probably does have a point now that good legal advice might suggest he shouldn't answer some of those questions, which leaves him being able to answer the easy ones and not the difficult ones....which would probably have just made things worse.
Everything seems to have stopped now: the building works, the sale or any mention of the "consortium", talks between the prospective buyers and NBC, signing of any new players (presuming Clarke was already a done deal)....even the new shirt. At the risk of being seen as a prophet of doom, I'm struggling to see a single positive sign at the moment. Cliff....edge....

Quite why he announced this takeover so early in the process is beyond me!! He clearly hadn't learnt from previous mistakes about his promises. Why metion something until it's 100% completed!! Don't get me wrong if it's the best deal for the club then fantastic but I just can't see how DC would be able to continue if it didn't go through..

That's a bit harsh. Assuming you acknowledge the 'consortium' to be real (and I'm not saying that's a certainty by the way), it would be incredibly difficult to keep the various stakeholders totally silent throughout the coming weeks/months of the due diligence etc, particularly in the context of the freeze on the East Stand redevelopment. The rumour mill and vitriol would be totally out of control, even more so than now, if DC just stayed silent on the whole thing. For the record, there's nothing preventing the new potential owners from revealing their own identity at this moment in time. Can't imagine it would be in the interests of the club to publicly out them against their wishes?! Assuming they exist, of course....

Very nicely put Mr Amoo, I was going to say something similar but a touch more long winded!
