Yeah well done on the bar, but don't say it's going to be open at half time and then not open it because I've just had 13 years worth of fibs from mongy

I'll have to go back and read through it some time. I bet one character in particular has been editing and deleting his posts for weeks now.

Yeah I said this the other day.... won't be long before people start questioning it. Don't get me wrong DC would have left so much s*** to sort out so I'm sure there are other things on the agenda as well as just that stand.

I spoke to a chap genuinely ITK this week... It seems KT wants the maximum amount of seats possible putting into the East meaning the lower level hospitality may not be there after all with seats all the way along. He doesn't want a single restricted view seat, so they're looking at options.
Along with this, I understand CW wants the corners filling in if possible to reduce the swirling wind we suffer with on the pitch (not due to the pies!)
I also understand that final discussions are in place for a training pitch(es).... grass type being discussed - yes that level of detail.
It maybe hearsay, but it's what I heard...and it's all gone a bit quiet. I actually prefer silence until fact is releasable.

Beer tent, selling out games (both from a corporate and regular fan perspective), arranging a dinner with local businesses. This guy has already done more in a couple of months than you know who did in years. Anyone who has met him will tell you that he is a far more amiable chap too. It took the idiot donkeys years to not build a stand and lose £x millions. See what KT has to say on Thursday.

My expectation is that the stand should be there for fans to use at the start of next season. Anything better than that will be good news IMO.

Indeed.... astute, friendly, and a bit of a lad as well....a proper footy chap!

I have a gut feeling it won't be ready for the new season. Not that that's a problem. Mr Thomas has done more for this club in the short time he has been here than the Cardozas did in many years. I like to thing Dog Do is correct in what he has heard. Let's hope so

Definitely can't see it being finished by the start of next season but it's possible that some of it maybe usable. When we get promoted I expect that it may help push the urgency of the project.

How long did Saints new stand take from start to finish?

I was on there the day it started and about a week before it finished and it was very quick. The old stand was down in something like a fortnight. Something like May until about the 1st or 2nd week of December and I think they're still doing stuff internally as well but it was finished to all intents and purposes back then
