It would quite clearly be very simple to expand the north and south stand if you wanted just a basic expansion, ie just extra rows of seats. You could even remove the roof and just bolt on a temporary structure if we really wanted to, not that I'm suggesting it. Whether or not the expansion it is worth the cost is a different matter.

It might appear simple to do it quickly. But in 22 years nobody has attempted it.

Architects are clever folk when properly employed. I'm sure they'd have no problem at all joining all four corners if required, even if all four stands were of unequal height. It'd probably look $hite but steel can be joined to steel with more steel and bolts.
How good a view you'd get from any filled in corners is another matter. Is a "bowl" absolutely necessary anyway?
I've always found the corners the absolute worst place to watch a game from but if it's away fan baiting you're into, they'd be okay I guess.
Arguably, you at least need something the size of the Macron to create a decent bowl structure. 15k seater wraparounds look a bit poo by comparison.

I feel like this Stuart Loxton feller doesn't get enough recognition without him it may have taken a lot longer for the real details to come out and it may had led to us going under and DC disappearing like his dad has managed to. Edit this also proves to me that our council have lied specifically Mary markham about when they were first alerted to the problems.

As far as I remember the North , South and East stands were built so they could be expanded easily, although I have never seen any plans for this, the New East doesn't seemed to have followed any particular overall plan. The current North and South Stands are very basic Stands that are not really fit for purpose, they don't even go the width of the pitch.
The foundations were put in place to add second tiers to home and away end, that is all.

With everything going on, there is £10m+ still missing/unaccounted for, shouldn't there be some sort of audit trail that shows where an amount that large has 'disappeared' to? It's just amazing that something that seems relatively easy to the man in the street is proving so difficult.

Wonder how much of the £10 million went towards the spate of 3 year contracts and contract terminations that DC went on in 2014 & 2015....

I stated this at the time and was shouted down... We went from signing nobodies on three month deals to quality players on three year deals. It was concluded by other posters on here that it was a sheer coincidence that DC got the council loan around this time!!! Luckily for the club the loan conditions were stipulated by a five year old and not by council auditors etc which from memory meant the 10M was for the betterment of the club(at least that was quoted from the club at the time). IF this is correct one could rightly argue that spending x amount on players contracts is for the betterment of the club, However certain statements from the board around that time have needed to be scrutinised and the council don't seem too keen to acknowledge that they may have given the previous club owners a loan of £10M which when looked into had stipulations therein that had more holes than Swiss cheese. It's hard to know which party has made the biggest mistakes but I'd hazard a guess the money could be spent as seen fit due to the ineptitude of whoever drew up the loan conditions. Why this was allowed to happen when it could have been spotted by so many people is a question worth persevering with!!

No no no. It's all on here somewhere,I can't be bothered to trapse through. I didn't make comment that it was myself alone but did make comment that plenty of posters knocked me for my scepticism regards this so no it is not utter b0llocks it is just a point of fact. It was around the time when many were believing in a bright future for the club...... You are however quite entitled to your incorrect opinion regards this.

As opposed to you who offer no opinions whatsoever but join in every thread. Keep those opinions coming Have you made your mind up about whether you attended the trust open forum at the guildhall a couple of years back. One minute you had,one minute you hadn't. As I remember you tied yourself up in knots. Before trying to belittle me again try posting your own opinion on subjects. When was the last time you actually started a topic? Your input may actually be valuable, fact is as other posters we are yet to find out as you never post any opinions of your own instead choosing to moan at those who do. The only time you tried to enter into a debate you decided you did and didn't attend an open forum in the space of a couple of pages. I'm not a fan of multiple identities on forums and people who crave attention by arguing both sides of a story a la marvo but you take it one stage further by putting no viewpoint across but still seem to get involved in every thread. If you crave attention in future at least stick an opinion up.

He was the architect employed by DC and grossman etc who gave all the info to David palthorpe and tried to tip off the council several times.
