Can see the point of view Drilling with regards waiting, but can also see the other side as well. There have been quite a few times where we have had a good team, investment has been made in the playing squad and we have achieved on pitch success. But, apart from a couple of hundred extra seats and an extra door in the toilets, the Stadium is the same now as it was 24 years ago.
The success of the 60s,  promotion in the 70s and 80s and nothing was ever done to build on that and the Club soon found itself back where it started with the same basic off field problems.
My main concern is, and remains, the lack of any information and plans as to what the Club are aiming to achieve off the pitch.

I've been going since 87 season and the only time I can recall us 'splashing the cash' was when Wilkinson was given a free reign to spend a shed load of DC's money shortly after his arrival. Every other time its been the odd player here or there, like any other club basically.

This time around we seem to be spending money (on our level) on players we've never even tried to compete with before, and to do so in the January window in particular shows real intent. And not just the odd player, loads of them. Even the loanees are 'on paper' a completely different standard to the norm.

Its that very reason why Im making a strong *assumption that there must be a big plan in place, which to be fair to KT he has said on many times that there is. He just won't tell us what it is!!

Interesting tweet from the BBC over missing millions.

Northants Police: number of people yet to complete interview process and this will continue for the next few months as we prepare a file for CPS..."we are finding further potential significant witnesses

Anyone’s guess how they’re sleeping now, but reckon Mackintosh might need to be sleeping with big “Grouty” Cardoza in the near future? Might need some protection from “Genial” Howard Grossman over the wing?

Its a nice thought, but I would guess that there would be some "grassing up" going on, in return for a more lenient sentence.
As an aside, if I get called up for jury service for this one, (yes please!), does anyone know if, as a previous season ticket holder for fifteen years, this would prevent me from doing my duty?

I can’t wait for the council and solicitors to get back from their Christmas break so those few lose ends can be tied up and the promised good news can be delivered.

Heard from a reliable source (not the one who strangely watches kids play football on a Monday afternoon) that KT is in the process of lending Northamptonshire Council £10.5 million.
Otherwise, the Byfield to Northampton bus service gets it!  Tongue

Now the manic January window has passed (well done NTFC), can KT issue a statement concerning the relationship with NBC and a decision?
Can KT issue a statement about what his target plans are for the Stadium, if the Council sort the legal issue?
What time scale does he envisage when a decision is made by the Council?

Has our Trust asked KT these questions?

You ask him. He will have exactly the same regard for you, as he does the Trust.

Also... The Trust are busy organising a sponsored Knitathon.  Tongue Wink

It's all still with the northampton borough council, just asked him. He also stated in the future to ask the council the questions as we have done everything we can.

With the current predicament of the council I can’t see anything being resolved anytime soon.

Not quite everything, if you believe the council's view that nothing is preventing the club from finishing the stand.
