councillor Macintosh also ignored mine and others request to have a public spending authority to over see the spend to ensure the towns football club get the best possible outcome.. that didnt work out too well.
now that is a very valid point of action and any reasonable person should have acted upon it.

I suppose the simple answer to that would be experience...

I'm not for one second challenging anyones perspective. But it's pretty safe to assume that most of us have watched or played football for years, so have a reasonable insight into the game. Where as not many people spend a lot of time around planning meetings/submissions, or indeed the legal aspects of building buildings.

I would question the comparison for those of us that have played park football and perhaps coached some kids along the way with someone like JFH who has lived and breathed football since he was a kid. He's played to the very highest level and passed all the coaching badges, and they are a pretty tough.
It must be galling for him to hear butchers, bakers and candlestick makers that watch Match of the Day and go to games every week or so telling him he's tactically naive.

Don’t know KTs actual specific circumstances but from personal experience I can tell you this. As a business, it is easier to put a man on the moon than raise capital from the banks when most of your assets are in another country. Given he’s based in the US, I am wondering how he would get a deal for a loan of 4 million, especially with NTFCs likely profit margin and the other investors based in China? He’s clearly intending on doing it somehow, but assuming he doesn’t have assets to cover it in the UK I’m intrigued? This post financial crisis world is a nightmare to operate in and explains how the Cardozas were able to justify using the council for their loan? They would have had more chance of getting the money off the cat than the banks.

Absolutely spot on. The "experience" Terry alludes to I find a little odd. After 35 years of working on large scale commercial developments I wouldn't say my knowledge was in football, similarly to many supporters, their "experience" lies away from football. Neither would I admit to being involved with any planning decisions made within the County considering their propensity to make some of the most ridiculous and short sighted decisions. The examples are numerous. Sixfields included.

What a great post - be interesting to see the ‘experts’ on here particularly those who criticise JFH at any given
opportunity. Forsee a great debate coming up!!

I'm sure like any professional JFH wouldn't welcome the intrusion. But the result of his thoughts and methods are on public display, and to some degree lend themselves to interpretation. Where as planning is yet to become a spectator sport, or indeed something that could be participated in unless it was/is your job.

Like I have said many times before. I don't share the sometimes rude and unecessary view of Beds that some do. But there is no point in pretending he has anything other than a tenious grasp of the procedural and financal aspects of the redevelopment. I believe his attempts to illicit a decent response from the club and his overall intentions are commendable. He has steadfastly refused to be swayed on what he perceives as malingering and misinformation. He could we be proved to be right.

I have always thought that some posters reaction to Beds has or is sometimes worse than rude. On the other hand, he does resort to inflammatory comments on KT which of course distracts from his campaign. There are some merits in his campaign but some have legitimately like Deepcut and Marquis have called into question some of his specific proposals on costs. It is those type of criticisms in which Beds seems reluctant to explain away.
Anyway, my view for what its worth is that no Redev Plans will be issued until our fate in League 1 is known.

KT said they had the money to spend no loans.

IF IF IF! the statement that the Council will make a decision on the leases by the end of March (2018?), we do not have long to wait for KT to announce his plans and timescale for the £3 million he has ready to use.

Anybody see any pigs flying around!!!

Although I STILL live in hope.

That’s probably been spent on the managers and huge wage bill.

More or less right I think, which begs the question of where is the Chinese money?  No one seems ready to bite on this bullet, including our owners in terms of telling us what is going on with our so-called partners.

That's because nothing is going on. I suppose you could argue that they have supported JFH quite well in terms of bolstering the squad a bit. What else does anybody else want them to spend on at the moment?

They have?? I thought the money for the bolstering came from Mr Bower and his BVI company?

Just a thought but maybe building up the infrastructure in order to be a more attractive visit and increase match and non match day revenues?
Will we end up with a multi million pound accumulation of debt like we have in past years without anyway of it being sustainable?
With  little to no future plans in circulation these past 2.5 years makes it feel like we've been here before😂
