Updated rumour has it that the deal is agreed.

As the deal is agreed. You can tell us all about it. Who told you, who are the buyers etc ??
Beds has been quiet today. Maybe he has been busy finalising the deal?

He's up there now with his scale model of the stadium, 5 year plan and an abacus to show his financial workings.

It won’t happen as it’s been said on here many times that there is no one willing to buy us

Agreed maybe BUT not signed with the ink dry! So we have to sit on our hands in silence for a while longer.

Until it’s signed and announced I wouldn’t get too excited as we are Northampton Town and anything can happen.
John Fashuna was going to bring in a host of stars. Terry Fenwick was going to sign Nigel The Pistol Pierre. Ravi Rach was going to do something maybe. Others were going to move us to Barrack Rd, Brackmills and Danes Camp at various points.

I think someone should just take this city of Peterborough and just... just flush it down the f***in' toilet

Big money in care homes.
You can say that again. I am about to apply for a deferred payment agreement, in order to fund my mums healthcare. I had a care home manager on the phone this afternoon, saying that mum had passed her assesment, and he would be happy to accept her, and their fee was £853 A WEEK.

We had to sell our Mums house to pay for her to go into a home in Northampton due to her dementia. £850 has been coming out of her account for two years now. We reckon all the money will be gone in about two and a half years. Hopefully they’ll keep her on after that but you can never be sure. Evil disease, all that money should have been for her grandchildren. Anyway, up the Cobblers.

Yes, same situation for my Dad - don’t want anything from the house sale inheritance wise but worried about the money running out. Places in Avery homes are nice but between £1000 and £1500 per week by the way - council contribution to someone who has to sell his home, use his savings, is around £240 per week net as they even deduct your state pension from the allowance. Who the f*** can afford £70 grand a year for any length of time?

Maybe the new owner will give season ticket holders big reductions.

As you know mate, I’m in the same boat. But take my word when I say £850 a week (about what it’s costing my mum as well) is very cheap. I seen more than a thousand a day in my time working in healthcare. There’s at least one other who posts on here, who could tell a tale or two about the cost of care. So. Putting all that aside. Have we got anything concrete from anywhere that we’re changing hands again?

About as much concrete as the East stand has seen.
