A small fit out to finish the east stand, which is not the most urgent part of sixfields development and it's urgent capacity requirements to be able to trade properly  in League 1, is not closer than ever.

Totally agree - the east stand is an embarrassing carbuncle - but when (if ever) finished it is going to make little difference to future prosperity.

Now extending the south (first) and then the north by 1500 seats would make far more sense.

Couldn’t agree more.

sooooo what's worse  - looking at the East stand or the stuff on the pitch

Of course they are in no way at all connected in any way shape or form or any degree or anything

Melbourne from the other thread, you are totally right about the £5m debt to KT no that relevant, other than points to how bad an owner he is in that he 'loses' £5m in 2 years and has NOTHING to show for it. That is from the leader of our football club, no wonder we are almost bottom

This is not supposed to be happening as we have signed players so everything should be already - just ask back of the net !

No one can say with any conviction that all is well with our club - 3 s***ty seasons and all the signs that this one is going to be a struggle - but automatically associating everything bad is linked is just simply a faux argument to suit your agenda. The fantastic Wilder season occurred with a worse set of off the pitch circumstances. Bury gained promotion in a season when their off the pitch situation was dire etc etc
Of course a badly run club is never going to enjoy sustained success but just occasionally try not to be the knitter of bad news, creating an enormous ugly cardigan from all the threads......

We need to rethink the over used mantra 'finishing the east stand' as the one thing that will save our club,  it won't, yes it'll make some  much needed extra revenues dependant on how well it's fitted out depending on what budget it has, but this will not stop the reason that causes us to lose of over £300,000 per season in lost gate revenue when playing as league 1 club..
Revenue lost directly by our ground capacity being way too low in order to properly sell the dozen or so top matches to the maximum against the much more attractive and bigger opponents we will face when back in L1.
We need a definitive understanding as to what it will take to allow our club to trade properly in L1 in order to become established at that level and collectively push towards a solution.
Now we can be almost sure Thomas won't be finishing off anything anytime soon, it would be a great time to define exactly what our club needs.

On this I agree completely - however the sticking point remains that we have no say on what KT does (or doesn't do).

However no regime lasts for ever and my wish would be an owner (and yes it is most likely to be an owner) shares with people a tangible development plan for sustainable growth - of course a number of fans will need to wise up to the fact that time scales may not be exact and actual budgets may not match expectations but the key here is sharing a plan with the members of the club to gain a true sense of belonging.

I would not ignore the fact that some servants of the club have tried in a many ways to do this but at best it simply retains the small fanbase we have - leadership has to come from the top and I sadly have to concede in my opinion KT is not a leader.

Hi Cobblerwatch, it is a shame that KT is in the same mould as DC, in some ways he is actually worse.

Ultimately we can't do anything other than to make him aware that you and others are now fed up with his tenure and demand action from either him or from fellow fans to say it is not acceptable.

Again a club that is not developing and improving gets left behind hence our sinking lower and lower. Fire fighting funds appeases many fans but actually causes more harm than good as it papers over the ever increasing gaps.
