I genuinely couldn't give a fcuk about the East Stand. It has been used to fuel so many peoples agendas. It's like the Brexit of NTFC. An excuse for all of the idiots to come out of the woodwork.

The full backing of the town of Northampton and the club supporters are all we need. Thomas wont be here forever and then we'll start being competitive in L1. Melbourne hasn't got a clue🤣🤣
Don’t forget about the support of those all important well wishers?

The most ironic part is you. We have no shortage of negative, stuck in the past types like you. It's the go getting forward thinkers that we would like to see more of. One thing I can rely on. We will never lose your nuggets of wisdom, whilst I post. There's a few more emojis to brighten up your day.

I'm optimistic that Thomas will cash in his good fortune soon thus giving our club the chance to regroup and trade accordingly as a long established, well respected and located football club in a town the size of Northampton. Constant L2 football in a half empty, tiny out dated stadium dependant on outsider speculators without future growth plans or direction will hopefully be be a thing of the past. This is not a master plan but a long over due necessity.

Thge size of a town, it's supporter base and history does not give the entitlement to league status, just ask Notts County.

So you are saying - If KT leaves and nobody else invests in the club then we will become a successful team that flies up the league? You've stumbled on the Cardoza five year plan haven't you?

What are you trying to say? Notts county were 5hite and badly run, they went down.. That doesn't give us the right to run our club half arsed?? Why not compare us with Posh, MK, Luton, Rotherham, Doncaster Watford, etc, when making excuses for the poor running of our club?

Our freinds down the M1 have just reached agreement on the location of a 49 acre training complex. At one time this was being touted for Cosgrove, but now it appears that it will be at the MK Bowl site.
Still developing despite only a few weeks ago Winkleman saying the club was losing £10k a week.

Happy to oblige, let’s pick the first 2 on the list have a 2 minute look at the latest returns and see how we go? NTFC 5 million in debt. PUFC 7.5 million in debt MKFC 10.5 million in debt. There’s your comparison, answers on how to address these issues please? P.S You suggested I haven’t got a clue, well thanks to the lovely people at companies house, now I have. The question now is have you? Drum roll please! https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/company/00290803/filing-history?page=1https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/company/04787003/filing-history

Just had a look at the next on the list Luton and including called up share capital they are in for 18 million which coincidentally is about the amount I suggested we would need to take our club forward? Beds, you claimed that figure was nonsense, yet the club on your doorstep that you demanded we compare ourselves to have done just that? Discuss. https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/company/06133975/filing-historyI can’t be arsed to look at the next on the list but would imagine they are in a similar position?

During a lull in Friday’s workload I have continued the comparative work on behalf of Beds. Rotherham United are 3.5 million in debt. Their return contains a full report which makes an interesting read. In the defence of Beds they use a lot of the terminology that he uses such as reliant on local businesses, sponsors and supporters. The ground has also been used for under 21 games and various events and functions. However, they also acknowledge in the report that their success is intrinsically linked to performance on the pitch and recent relegation has been problematic. However, despite all the activity that Beds claims will financially support our club and lead to sustainability they are 3.5 million in debt and have been relegated. Beds can continue with the rhetoric and dodge the issues all he likes but it doesn’t hide the truth. The very examples he used for us to aspire to are in debt and none examined so far are showing even close to a break even figure. I raise these points not to be a kill joy but to expose the reality of where some of the contributors to this thread are trying to lead us? All the evidence suggests that investments to the required levels are a massive risk and are currently not proving sustainable for the examples given. It must be said though that if one of these breaks out and makes the Prem the figures will certainly change for the better and then some. That being said, all myself and anyone like me has ever done is question the financial viability of what is being suggested. That doesn’t mean I support Kelvin Thomas. It doesn’t mean I am content with division 2 football. It doesn’t mean I am happy with Sixfields. All I am doing is calling it as I see it, and following Beds request for comparisons it proves unquestionably that myself and all the others that questioned this tripe all along were 100% right. Not that it was ever in doubt. It’s quite simple, financial sustainability is dependent on spending less than you earn and if you spend money beyond your means cashflow and profit and loss figures to cover the debt. None of the first 4 clubs Beds has held up have come close to achieving this as demonstrated by the financial reports. Never the less it might be true that Beds can stand on a sack of gyprock wave his magic trowel around and create a different outcome for NTFC, but I doubt it? Either that or the recently discussed well wishers are the Sultan of Brunei and/or Bill Gates? Rotherham report below. https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/company/06550400/filing-history

The whole catchment area thing Beds keeps rolling out makes me chuckle. Yes, the population has grown rapidly but a lot of it comes from people who've moved to the area for cheap housing and easy access to other places. Those that are interested in football already have a team to support and the aforementioned easy access means they aren't looking for a new team to support because they can keep on supporting whoever they already support! For example, a relative of mine through marriage has recently moved to the area and he still goes to see Norwich! A mate also moved to the area, lived here for 10 years before moving away again and never once even set foot in the town centre. He had no interest in football so wouldn't have come to see the Cobblers anyway, but the lack of engagement with the town or community as a whole says it all - for many people it's just a place to live.
