Still, under the events page, at least we know the following...

Oh the irony, the Trust get it both barrels from certain people for not issuing a statement about the East Stand after 8 days, yet the people who should be issuing statements have been incredibly quiet for getting on for 4 years   Roll Eyes

The Trust regularly come in for a lot of flak on here? Obviously I donít know the general feelings of the support base at games, but it does seem to indicate there is a failure to meet expectations? I find this quite strange considering it is an organisation supposedly run by the fans for the fans? The trust has a very clear mission statement, that is as follows.

ē To be open, democratic and inclusive in supporting the needs and ideas of supporters

ē To promote and strengthen the bonds between NTFC, supporters and the wider community.

ē To support the future of league football in Northampton.

Aims

1 To serve and represent supporter needs and interests.

2 To be democratic, open, inclusive and accountable to the membership.

3 To support and promote NTFC.

4 To be a guardian of professional football in Northampton

5 To contribute to and learn from the wider supportersí movement.

I am in no way being critical or implying anything when I say this, but do people think this is now adequate and reflects their expectations of the trusts primary functions? Are they failing to meet the current standards identified and what should they be doing differently? Has it become a pointless body there for the sake of it, or does it have an important role to play in the future?

I have no real judgement myself because tbh rather shamefully I donít know? However, I am interested to know what people really think? I donít really see much constructive criticism, but that doesnít mean itís not out there?

I think the Trust still wants to do all those things but it seems there is a complete breakdown in the relationship with the Club itself.

Its a totally different animal to that when it was set up, the halcyon days of a Trust member on the board of the club, 20% ownership wasn't it at one point?

Now it has just a 2.78% shareholding in the club and is probably considered no ore than a "dissenting voice" by the clubs owners. The open forums seem to have dried up......the last one was when Dean Austin was the manager wasn't it? Kelvin did attend one in July 17 I believe?

These days we have the Supporters Advisory panel, run by the club independent of the Trust.

Reading down the Trust website news articles they have a repetitive theme.......for example they requested a meeting with KT this week but there is another article on the website about requesting a meeting in October 19.

They've done a fair bit of work looking at the community ownership models but decided the time isn't right at the moment. They've raised a bit of money to sponsor some kit, raised some more to back a book about Dave Bowen.

All good causes i'm sure......but what is the strategy? What is happening going forward?

I'm at a loss to know what the Trust is doing at the moment........certainly on the redevelopment front.

The Club and the Council? The Council and CDNL, or CDNL and the club?

For those anxiously seeking a detailed, crystal-clear update on development ďprogressĒ you need fret no more. "Progress" has been replaced with "conversations" (with NBC).  All you need to know is unambiguously contained in the Chairmanís interview with BBC Numpty yesterday evening.

The update on the East Stand begins at 23:40 mins.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/p07zkv46

And if you are wondering if we might see some construction activity soon draw your own conclusions.

Who needs the Trust when you have such clarity?

Itís quite embarrassing to listen to him bumbling through that interview, rarely finishing a sentence before starting a new one, changing the figures..the 167.000 tax bill changed to half a million, the ringfenced money was half gone before the end of the first season.
The football club has lost money for the last 25 years, the redevelopment can not be financially sustained by the football club itself....and so on. The architects have been in? No, Not exactly, well no not really.....

Iím struggling with the whole Ďlandí issue. Is he talking about the small portion that is under the clubs control, or the leases to the wider area, all the way to the tip and the top car parks?

Also the deals with the council...to allow them to recover some of the money lost? When did that come about? I didnít think that this ownership was liable for the shambles of the last ownership.

Apparently he showed the council a bank account with £11m in it when he first took over....if thatís the case then why the subsequent loans through a shell company based in the British Virgin Islands?

Two deals went in, one knocked back and one still being discussed.....none of it makes much sense at all.

I have a couple of questions for you.

What response would you have liked him to give?

If our owners don't take ownership, who do you think should?

I see you are back to running with the hare and hunting with the hounds.

I think Manwork &,  especially, GPC gave a response to what they made of the ďinterviewĒ. Why not ask them?

As to your second question, I donít follow what you asking?  I didnít make any reference to owners taking ownership which is a meaningless comment from you in any event..

So you were asked two incredibly simple questions and failed to answer and yet want people to listen to your opinions
Question 1. What is your opinion, not manwork or GPC but your opinion
Question 2. What on earth confused you? It was a very, very simple question

Good to see the sites's Administrators collaberating!

As to my opinion - see above beginning in or about 2016.

As the second question since you are clever, please explain.

PS.  Don't try the usual trick of trying to isolate individuals like me who have a different opinion on NTFC issues than your own.  You are doing the owners' work for them but I think they might be capable of looking after their own interests rather well.

You might get away with skulking in the shadows of the Trust as their puppet master. But when youíre challenged for answers you make KT look positivity candid.

You clearly sneer at KT's radio interview. So Iím asking what answers did you expect? Be a brave boy, get off the fence and actually call him a liar yourself. Rather than dancing around fine words and BS.

If you and the Trust don't want KT and DB to have the land. Who do you think should have it?

Because the last mention of the Trusts position, was a boastful stab at a club employee at the Park Inn hotel, that a millionaire was crying out to buy the club. A genuine employee whose concerns you laughed at.
