I must admit, when the redevelopment began I did have a mental vision of maybe 30-40 people working on the site with heavy machinery etc.

Aside from the piling machine, I've seen more labour intensify in my parents back garden when they had a water feature put in.

I still say there is no excuse for seats with restricted views in 2014 and I challenge anybody to try to tell me otherwise, I fear I'll be waiting a long time though because any difficult questions get ignored by the superfans
& I am still waiting

Sorry Marquis you won't get an answer because they have no answer.

Excuses for restricted views disappeared in 1958 when the first cantilevered stand was built at Scunthorpe's Old Show Ground.

"Some of the facilities, including the increased seating capacity, will be ready for the start of the season." -DC. There wont even be a roof on it before Christmas let alone commercial facilities.

Either he hasn't got a clue or he thinks everybody's stupid, either way it doesn't bode well. Remind me how did the 5 year plan workout?

With a bit of luck you will be waiting a long time.
It will only attract those with an axe to grind or worse.

If those responsible for such a pathetic offering were to try and justify it, it would show contempt not only for the football club but the whole Town.

Maybe the bit about the chairman stating that in the short term, it's not possible to do boxes all the way along the east stand (as the budget has been stretched to it's limit)- so in the short term, where those boxes will go (in time) on the far ends of the east stand, the club puts in temporary seats to allow additional capacity in the meantime?
Then, when the revenue builds following all the commercial improvements, the boxes then get added in on the ends with those temporary (some restricted view seats) moved out again? In addition to the South and North increases which are planned in due course too?

I must be either completely blind or maybe I just see the longer term vision with the short term wins?

Stands back and awaits the highly original, ridiculously funny (and very 1970s) taunts of homosexuality due to my belief that this club is moving forward.

Too simple , Marquis asks the question, this is a poor answer, seems easy, but where will the Millions of pounds come from to finish the East Stand, extend the North and South Stands, plus run the club, plus make up the short fall on the Hotel. You could be looking at £15m plus to do that, just how long will the new development take to generate that sort of cash.

It is time for your daily whining concerns, Dog, to be brought into the public arena, instead of being hidden on an obscure football message board. CARDOZA OUT NOW should be made public; some of the people in the town don't even realise what's going on. You could start by printing out all your posts, and those of other concerned supporters, and sending them by post - to be signed for personally - by the Chairman, to let him know what is being said.

You obviously have credible business and financial skills and like to have your opinions noticed, so take the plunge and go public. You are wasting your talents and, at present, are standing by and watching our once great club slowly sink below the waves. Perhaps if you don't have the means personally you could raise a consortium. After all, only a shortage of seats lies between us and a thriving Championship club.

Think about it.
