" jacksonpollock the fifth @JacksonpollockF · 59m But Trust's reasons 4 doing & saying wot they do r based on evidence, factual happenings, & known events. They dont want to be in the position they r Trust was formed 30 yrs ago to help protect the club from people w 'wrong intentions' Still at that point now Fans don't get it"
From my twitter this morning, it was from a thread started when I pointed out to the Trust that 27 people turning up for their AGM was quite frankly a bit pathetic. I have asked where to find these "factual happenings" and "wrong intentions" I'm hoping they will be pointed out to me.
As a PS I am thinking of joining the Trust again, anybody else?

I can't tell if he did it on purpose because he is parodying Bedscobb, or if it was a genuine mistake on his part. Genuine mistake / accounting for those that only like egg chasing (but genuine mistake )

Hi pau, botn, peter, stan and melbourne, so sorry I was slow to reply, on holiday in Australia. But having read your replies, It seems that you could only be cdnl/thomas or employees there of.. or ones hiding under his shirt tails.. Im very tired, having just got back from wedding celebrations, so after some rest, I shall correct your errant ways. Northampton town fc will not be subjected to or suffer from your devious manipulation..
Hi Beds. Thats funny as I have been reflecting over the weekend and can only assume you are an agent of Luton Town (should have changed your username, you make it to obvious) to undermine and collapse the club as you feel threatened by us the up M1!! I have seen through you and many more will now follow. There is no way a true fan of NTFC can suggest the things you do, so can only be a double agent. I see you Luton Liar

Beds - just the two questions on this -
1) Why do you think the council would divert a single penny to the football club? - having already being fleeced for £10m and 95% of council tax payers not giving a toss about the football club cold logic, even as an avid fan tells me that isn’t going to happen. 2) Any thoughts on who these new progressive owners are so all fans can get behind them.
Firstly it wasn't NTFC that fleeced the council but cdnl/cardoza/nbc. Northampton and NTFC were victims, losing a golden opportunity to progress the club. As for the last bit, at least 50 other football league clubs have owners who are progressing their respective clubs.. One similar to those, currently kept at arms length for 20 years will eventually step in save our asset diminished mothballed club. It's ironic that our clubs own fans are the ones allowing it to continue. This land grabbing nonsense will end soon.

Not a chance. Theres always another one waiting in the background, willing to have a go. Fashanu, De Stefano, some dude previously at Swindon, a possible care home, and others that I cant recall, they have all had a sniff. Not mentioning the past few chancers, and the current very determined one. There will always be one that thinks that they can succeed where others fail.

I’m just waiting for Melbourne to respond to the above. At this Antipodean hour, I suspect he's too busy having a wet dream over 30,000 capacity stadiums.

GENUINELY meant in a positive way to try to get some good debate back on this page (although might be the wrong page). I have been through the leagues and got to 17 clubs that I think have progressed well in the last 5-10 ish years. Probably missed a few so which do you disagree with and which have I missed (open to all). Brentford Forest Leicester Leeds Luton Wycombe Shrewsbury Lincoln Exeter Fleetwood Accrington FGR Stevenage Salford Sutton Barrow Harrogate Also got to 9 that I think have gone backwards (only teams currently League 2 or above). But i'll save that list for another rainy (snowy) day.

Hi Stan Pretty good list but you can add a few month. Some Prem ones (although they have so much cashflow you would expect improvement) Brighton Spurs (new stadium) Bournemouth Fulham Wolves Then some that are either planning new stadiums or fairly big increases in ground capacity Luton s***boro Oxford Millwall and you also have Newport County, supporter owned running at a small profit

Some Prem ones (although they have so much cashflow you would expect improvement)
Brighton Spurs (new stadium) Bournemouth Fulham Wolves
Then some that are either planning new stadiums or fairly big increases in ground capacity
Luton s***boro Oxford Millwall
and you also have Newport County, supporter owned running at a small profit
Some good additions, Brighton & Spurs agree with (both based on stadiums). Bournemouth I debated but they have been at the top for a while now, same as Huddersfield, although remember playing them in the league. Curious about Fulham and Wolves. I know a few posh fans (dont judge) and they have very low confidence that the stadium will get built. Newport should have been on the list you are correct.

Since tomorrow Melly, talking about clairvoyants, on my football prediction sheet this week I have an A-League game: Wellington Phoenix vs. Sydney FC. What would the local, wise money say in terms of a scoreline?

we have played Fulham fairly recently and have a brand new state of the art stand, designed and built by...... Buckingham ! Could delete Wolves actually Actually we both missed off the biggest one - Plymouth !!! They too have owners based abroad but unfortunately that is where the comparison ends ! Similar size / catchment population but they have owners who believe in their club and have real ambition. Such a shame as most fans feel we should be long established L1 and ideally Championship so we need to start catching up

Is it not time to move on from knocking the owners? It achieves nothing other than making me post on a thread that I said I wouldn't post on again.

Spot on kid, it’s time the EFL and FA wised up to these chancers. Not holding my breath.

Sorry Horse, never watch it. However, I would suggest 1-2 on the basis that I am never ever wrong on this forum.
