Well that's an eye opener - any comments please Pau and Stan I'm trying my best to keep away from this particular hornets nest....... to paraphrase Public Enemy "Don't believe the hype".......... Too many people are doing their best to talk the club down at every opportunity

The weird thing to me is that despite a larger stadium , larger crowds etc in the year to June 21 we had a turnover of £4.4M , they,MK £3.8M. In year to 2020 NTFC £5.3M, MK £4.5M.
There are a group of companies. Net assets £60 million, with turnover of £10million for the group for the last published year end, with a loss of £6million for the group for the year, so my guess is not all the stadium income goes through the Ltd company for the football side.

This, I think the only part of the group that makes money is InterMK which is the development bit so I would guess there is a reason to keep one bit profitable and the rest loss making. Its quite common in larger groups (usually for tax purposes or similar, but all 100% legal and above board). Another factor could be that its well know they give away a lot of tickets. I believe they did one recently where all season ticket holders got to bring a mate for free. Personally I think thats a great idea as although the ticket might be free, the seat would have been empty and the hope would be that they buy a pie and a pint so more revenue that way and even better to enjoy it and return as a paying punter. This is one thing that our ground really does prevent us from doing. I think we could do this, or mate for £1 on some of the unattractive Tuesday night games. As random has pointed out though we would be restricted as wouldnt be possible always to sit next to a mate so would have to be on the proviso that it wouldnt be in your regular seat, which would put a lot of people off.

Well that’s the difference Dave, I speculate with my own money. You on the other hand only speculate with other peoples. Mind you given the standard of your business acumen I don’t blame you. 😉

Good luck to them. 2 million quid for a whole ground with twice the capacity of ours. We can't even build a stand with a capacity of about 2000 for double that.
