Iím struggling to understand something today.

Dustin and Plasterer , officially self appointed experts on corruption and property development have consistently stated that our chairman is guilty of so much criminal activity.

Yet, today, here he was talking to the bloke who will more than likely be our next PM, advocating a Governance Bill in football.

Surely, KT isnít so stupid as to act like a turkey voting for Christmas is he?

The man will be locked up by August when our experts are proven correctÖ
Wonít he?

https://www.ntfc.co.uk/news/2024/june/24/northampton-town-football-club-welcome-sir-keir-starmer-to-sixfields-to-discuss-football-governance-bill/?fbclid=IwZXh0bgNhZW0CMTEAAR1_JymBZrOW2lRNOdAXUkXLmLKX-stn78m5xzCEURm9nfLOlGGyKOMS5uY_aem_drbO7QrvfLWzTCCzPUqu9g

 Grin
And the contradictions keep on coming.

Now that all the land and running track has gone from NTFC, does anyone reckon that NTFC will ever have the capabilities to sell 10,000 plus tickets for a match at a more professional looking Sixfields in most our life times?
Obviously not, ntfc are now finished as far as ever being a progressive club that can build up its support base.

With what has happened at ntfc now common knowledge throughout football, I'm hearing of competition for the Cobblers, it would make sense for there to be a new club to represent Northampton,  one that has real ambition and future plans to grow into a championship club.
Northampton town can now  only cater for a tiny fraction of the 500,000 that live within 30 mins of Sixfields which leaves the door wide open for a new club with real ambition ready to tap into a vast catchment.

I can honestly see Cobblers soon becoming the little brother in its own town ...
Northampton deserved much better than these amateurish no hopers representing it at our National sport.

Nene Valley 26 or NV26,  I believe the senior club of Northampton will be soon be known as.

Thoughts?

I always found it strange that shaq never did visit the club.
Poor Kelvin he must be upset that his friend hasnít invested in ntfc at a time when we are in desperate need of investment.
Hey ho though

We are desperate in the sense that we cannot compete for signings (although the club havenít confirmed this)
We have however got a new investor who is a multi millionaire FACT
The chairperson Kelvin thomas is comfortable where the club is at the moment FACT and given this ,unless we collectively donít believe a word he says then itís best to relax regards things.

Everyone can join me in panicking if
1) Nigel doesnít invest anything like what youíd expect from a new multi millionaire board member into the playing side
2) We donít sign league one standard players and pay them accordingly
3) We have a personal billionaire friend of Kelvin thomas who despite the club spinning news that he is a cobblers fan chooses instead to invest in a different football club
4) JR makes a statement refuting that it is exciting times for the club and states we are up s*** creek
5) JB goes missing and goes another week without updating the fans on the transfer business.

Only when all of these above conditions have been met will I begin to feel slightly uneasy but not panic.

I should think it was said, ever so slightly, tongue in cheek. It is shame though that a "good mate" of our chairman has potentially decided to invest in the club his mate supports not the club he's the chairman of and are probably desperate for a bit of investment.
