Google strange looking little stand, it'll be something like that.
Sorry, got nothing. I also tried strange little man, you ranked really high. Poor reviews though.

Let me make one thing absolutely clear, the Trust “advisor” is not god. Are you going to tell him or shall I?

FFS, what is it you actually hope to achieve with all this repetitive whinging, Beds?

I've heard theres an incredibly large £16,000,000 debt outstanding and it needed nearly all 24 acres in order to be able to pay it back... Have you heard this?
No. I haven't. But I have heard many things that aren't true. Some that are unnecessary as well. What divides our support more than anything is the misery and conjecture that is peddled by some. One thing I am very sure of, is that there is no such thing as free speech. A lesson that I feel some are perilously close to learning soon.

It could explain why we're not getting a proper redevelopment with 3000 capacity increase, just a tiny non league stand fit out.

A fair gauge as to how much ntfc have lost at the gate during the Cardoza/Thomas era would be to compare our gates to that of Posh Swindon or Oxford... Our gates are deliberately kept low due to our owners not using the money they levy against our club to increase revenues at the gate. I bet my figures are not that far out.. Have I now won back my credibility?
No, you've lost more as you do with most of your posts and demonstrated that you know your numbers are utter nonsense, using totally unreasonable variables such as including Cardoza with the current owners and yet here you are repeatedly waffling on about them. Let's say since current ownership took over, we've as you've said missed out on 100 (absolutely not the case) 10k attendance games, those games did not have 0 people in attendance which is the only way the numbers could come remotely close to the ones you're using, being generous probably 3000 extra tickets tops. So 3000 x 100 would be 300,000 tickets over that entire period. "Lost" or "Missed out on", a sensible and outstanding business mind such as yourself surely would understand that you can only really count profit there - so what's the profit on 300k tickets? taking into account freebies, reduced rate tickets etc, tenner at best? 3million quid.....so you're 7million off already, and thats with nonsensical numbers and very limited consideration for other variables. That's still not the profit - you have to take into account that to increase the stadium by a couple of 1000 seats to allow those extra ticket sales you'd have to spend to actually extend the stadium, I'd guess you'd have spent more than you've made in that period. Thank god you and the ridiculous individuals you follow are not running our club is all I have to say.

Amen to that Tom! I think we should arrange an annual celebration amongst sensible supporters. Let’s celebrate the date that the Trust failed with their buddies at Cildara. I’m not sure which date the court hearing went in favour of Kelvin Thomas and the board, but if someone could help out with that date… it should be celebrated annually. Dodged a bullet day? Any other ideas for the name welcome.

That’s the bit that still staggers me about this. At some point the owners, one of whom is a highly qualified legal professional, will have completed their business at the club. By which time they will have accumulated the maximum amount of evidence to disprove the historical accusations against them. I could reel off the list of examples, but won’t bother as it’s massive. Their reputation has been absolutely slaughtered and they clearly feel some unnecessary actions have been at some cost to them. There are a number of people who are horribly exposed in all of this, but credit where it’s due they’ve got balls of steel. However, if they believe in god they should be talking to him.

To hope one day to see our club compete as equals outside division 4... To have championship ambitions. For our club to be able to satisfy the ticket demands for the several bigger L1 games and not lose £500k plus eack L1 season. Using the land to enable an increased capacity to 10,000 building up to 12000 so to be championship ready. Other than that...

Don't worry me ol duck, I'll start a go fund me page...see link below Link... Melly is loaded, he can pay my court fees as we defend NTFC and its ground extension from our share of the land.. A sort of Northampton United against a bad deal..perhaps..

Joking aside, for the record I genuinely hope I don’t have to. It’s important to remember that people are only doing what they do out of love for the club, whether you agree with it or not.

Wow…. I read half of that and became very confused except for noting that their was significant bidding going on without a plan on one of the parties! Beds…. Could you unravel this legal statement for me as I’m sure you’ll tell us it’s all rubbish. Well done to NTFC and its owners for sticking with it! And…. Delivering what they promised.

I have a lot of respect for Beds staying on this forum and sticking to his guns, even though I don't agree with him. But as all the others who share similar opinions have ran away to their echo chamber, it can become a bit of a pile on with Beds at times.
I am one and I know he gives a good account of himself but we should all remember that our passion is for the betterment of our football club, regardless of how we think that should be achieved.
Lets hope we have a good season so we can all come together in a group hug and celebrate a successful season.

I would argue that his end game is very similar to the majority of us on this board; 12-15,000 capacity, Championship level football, better facilities etc .. The difference is his business plan of how we would achieve it, especially with an owner that isn't a multi billionaire.

Bed's ambitions for the club are reasonable and there are very few people who don't want us to aspire to a 12,000 plus stadium but it's the constant bitching about the owners and the belief that we are somehow entitled to something more than we are actually getting that has become more than tedious.
We are taking steps in the right direction under the current owners - the East Stand isn't fantastic but it's a legacy from a major fraud and not attributed to the current owners - I truly believe with the East Stand completed, maintaining gates of 6-7k and possibly new/additional ownership, extension of the North and South will actually happen in the not too distant future.
Can people actually envisage what would have happened if the Trust's aborted partnership with Cildara had actually happened - it's obvious to anyone with an iota of business acume - the club would have been well and truly shafted, even if they had managed to hang onto their beloved ACV land which might have just generated just enough revenue to pay one players wages but no East Stand completion and no income to support the exiting directors loan or indeed the day to day running of the club - i.e. NO NTFC
