Amazing how so many people claim to know so much but actually know so little.

I hope some of you do not run your own company.

STICK A CONCERT ON THAT WILL BRING REVENUE IN.

Yeeeeeah that’s why football clubs at our level are doing it regularly up and down the land.

It's a good idea but be very careful, the public are fickle. I believe it was Kent CCC who came a cropper with doing that.

The electronic boards obviously pay back instantly, otherwise clubs like Kettering wouldn't have them for one game, would they?

Or

The problem with Carton and his money making ideas are always in the way they get presented.

They are presented as if he's the only person that has ever thought of them, they are sure fire success, the club never listens or isn't interested and any challenge to his views are unwelcome.

We know the club, Tom Cliffe and a lot of supporters, including myself, still hold him in a great deal of respect.  As evidenced last time when he talked about the lost revenue from away fans.  However what also happened last time was an explanation from KT of just how much time they had given to listening to his ideas including lengthy and detailed reasoning of how they had already thought about it, run the figures and why it wasn't a priority.  Remember he claimed they had ignored him, despite evidence to the contrary and still thinks he was right.  It's a regular pattern and one sadly the Trust also follow.

I've never understood why, when you have the ear and respect of those that matter, you would not present and conduct yourself in a way that was more productive.  Ultimately there is no doubt the intention behind these ideas is the right one.

Let’s say it would cost £100k to put a concert on at Sixfields.

You might make £125k so £25k profit. Or you might only make £75k, a 25k loss.

Reward is not worth the risk.

Rocket science it is not.

You seem to be avoiding my point, I'm not worried about Kettering, I'm worried about why we are missing so many money making opportunities. Whats your opinion about that ?

They are also doing quite a lot right now though aren't they? Solar panels have just gone on the south stand, electric charge points are being added to the south car park. Oh, and they are currently finishing the East stand which is due to open Q1 next year.

They have recently employed a new commercial guy, I think in the last 12 months, and the number of club partners has massively increased since. you only have to check the bottom of the club site to see this.

So either we are collecting smaller revenue streams from each, in which case diversification is probably good, even if total revenue has not increased. Or we ar collecting more revenue in total due to increasing the number of partnerships, whilst also diversifying revenue streams.

Personally I would want everyone, including the commercial dept. laser focussed on opening the east stand and all the revenue generation that it will create (Boxes, hospitality packages, stand sponsorship, restaurant sponsorship, bar sponsorship, ads on the balconies of the boxes, ads behind the back row of the east seating, plus many others that I probably can't even think of right now).

Once the East stand is open, then I would re-focus efforts to getting additional revenue from sources like electronic boards etc.

You often defend the trust by pointing out that they are all volunteers whilst the club has full time employees (a fair point), but the club also has limited resources that have to be allocated to highest priorities. Right now, that isn't electronic advertising.

Come on now, Kettering are a club with, probably, less than 10 full time employees, how many do we have ? Our staffing costs for the year ending June 23 were £3.8M but Kettering have the man power to organise electronic boards for one match but we didn't, really ?

Following MCHammer's decision to post certain quotes from my PRIVATE message to him and subsequently being contacted by Kelvin Thomas via the Trust Chairman I have decided to cease posting on here and other social media on matters regarding NTFC with immediate effect.

I feel that despite my complaints of abuse and bullying by regular posters and mods of this board over the years, the skullduggery has now escalated to such a point that the lengths some will go to know no bounds.

This has reached the point now that people, including MCHammer, think it is acceptable to publish private responses despite it being a reply to a constant demand for "evidence" and even starting their reply with soft words like, it's not personal!  By any standards this is low conduct.

As many of you know, I suffer from a mental condition that means I "talk or type" too much, that I can't stay quiet when I feel there is unjust things being done and that I "overshare" and must win an argument.

I had the phone call a year or so ago from an Administrator of this site expressing his concern about my mental health, only for a week later for him to continue his ridicule and abuse, all of which has increase greatly over the last few months.

And now we are back round to this time of year when SOMEONE starts pushing their agenda of getting rid of the Trust board and here we are, surprise, surprise, with a senior poster on the board, by the way a professionally qualified person, goading me into a private message, so that it can be used against me by people with an agenda.

Upon reflection the whole situation has become totally toxic with ALL parties playing their part in it and it's something that has to stop NOW.

I don't want this to escalate further because if it does, then I too will be seeking claims against both THE and MCHammer on grounds, including but not limited to, of breaching my privacy and causing emotional distress.  If I am advised that MCHammer has breached his profession’s code of conduct I intend also to pursue a complaint against him.

But, as I say, perhaps this is time for everyone to pause, consider their actions, past and present and that includes Kelvin Thomas too because everyone keeps claiming they are all operating with the club's best interests, so should it really be this difficult to get on and help our club progress?

I wish everyone here the best and hope we can stay up to "enjoy" another season in L1.

Merry Xmas and Happy New Year to all

Derek Krajewski

Surely, its the promotor that takes the risk, hes the one that hires the stadium from the club?

I do get bored where people think they have to "defend" the club if anyone with a remote connection with the Trust questions anything. As I've stated before, I have an open mind on all things NTFC, but if I see something like Kettering having electronic ad boards and obviously making money out of it, I don't think it's unreasonable to ask why we didn't do the same, after all, it would benefit NTFC, no one else.
We've had that they would cover existing boards, but that is not the case, we've had they won't make money and that is obviously not true, we don't have enough staff to organise it, but Kettering managed it with a fraction of our full time staff and no infrastructure on one side of the ground.
