The expansion of the South Stand has to be next, so it’s a carbon copy of the West
Wouldn't the fans in the wings be looking down the backs of the East and West stands?

In the true fashion of the over entitled football supporter, we owe it to the owners to demand further growth and spending of their dosh. It's only reasonable to assume that they have spent many years accumulating wealth, so we can spend it for them. After all, to some people, the use of the land should be used to further OUR aspirations. Of course that could never have even been considered had Cildara, or another property developer been involved. But why let a little thing like that turn down the toxicity towards our owners..
Perhaps the money tree at the bottom of their garden is in bloom Nigel? Besides they committed a 4 million investment and a five year plan 10 years ago, so it’s only a little bit more, they’d hardly miss it. Fúck me, the paints barely dry on the East Stand. The expectation people have that other people open their wallets on a whim is always baffling to me. Chuck in a few million here, a few million there, in their heads it’s a simple as that. If the shoe was on the other foot and it was their money they’d shít their pants and run for the hills, or in Beds case the canal.

Let me make one thing absolutely clear, the Trust “advisor” is not god. Are you going to tell him or shall I?

Yeah I know, next thing they will own a football club with one of the smallest grounds in the League. In all seriousness the South stand could be expanded with help from fans and FAB, Trust, now Sixfields is older than 25 years the owners could apply for grants etc, it’s all these late nights puddling your entrepreneurial spirit old boy.

Who knows though. They might see it has missioned accomplished. There has never even been a mention of anything past what they have done. That could be because they got their fingers burnt going early with what they intended to do early doors when they arrived. Or, it could simply be that they are happy with what they have, and unless somebody else takes up the baton, we are where we are. I would like to see them stay and progress the club further. I know they have their critics, but I think they rank highly amongst the owners we have had. And they seem to be able to attract investment if needed.

When it comes to advice. I’m the only one to Trust

TBF given the ride they’ve been given and their original commitment, I’m not expecting much beyond what we have now. Im not sure they’d have the appetite for much more, too hard. As for them getting into cahoots with the Trust, we’ve been through this already.

I think we've only had a fully four sided ground that's complete for about 16 years in the history of the club...it's going to take a bit of getting used to...
The next challenge is to get attendances up again next season to an average, say 7,500, that will help quite a lot with the losses that we are making...
With the East Stand income coming on stream as well, we can be slightly optimistic that the financial position of the club might start heading in the right direction next season.
I think the plans for the land will be coming out quite soon and it will be interesting to see how the club plans to use it.
Overall, I know the East Stand has its critics - too small or even 'old fashioned' (strange one that) - but it's finished and to me it looks pretty impressive from where we started. and it now lets us look forward to larger crowds than I thought I'd see again in my lifetime..
I'm not an executive box type - but I'll be interested to see it at the open forum and listen to the clubs plans for the future..I never thought I'd see the day when the Cobblers had executive boxes, and if anyone out there did in the 1980s with the little mechano stand at the CG I'm going to call you a fibber..
Let's hope we're safe by then so we don't spend the evening discussing possible points permutations..

Time to close this thread down now
We need a “redevelopment closer than ever” banner to be unfurled by fans in the north stand before kick off to mark Saturday’s momentous occasion 😂

If we have to pay by the letter I'm not sure we can run to that?

The Trust can use some of the money it fundraised to save the club.

What a bizarre statement, it’s raised the capacity by 400 seats, what’s the context to that comment?

Bad day to select. It’s St George’s Day when people in this country will be celebrating. Poor turnout expected. Disappointed.

Does anyone celebrate St George's day? Especially on a Wednesday. I reckon there will be a decent turnout to have look around. Some may be checking the quality of the finish.

Not for me. Unless someone mentions it, it will pass me by without even realising it’s happened.

Not at all, although a nit of that immediately made me think of that jailed counsellors missus. I'd imagine it is less of an event though than St Patricks day, which I don't get the fuss about either. The point being that I don't think the club would have actively thought to avoid St George's day, which they clearly didn't.
