Somebody said this to me yesterday but I wonder if as part of the contract we guaranteed Coventry a minimum number of seats and as the East won't be up and running for a while we may be breaking our part of the deal, leaving ourselves open to breach of contract

Cricket, re Orlando I was referring to their set-up, website, staffing levels etc on crowds of less than 8000
I was also referring to their campaign regarding MLS membership,
Yes it is a bit of a stretch for poor old Cobblers as DC only has £12 million to play with

Funny Cricket how you never actually address any of the concerns I and others make regarding the dev.
'................. I'm attempting to address the redevelopment of my garden shed. It lacks a certain glamour..............
You got a laugh at CS sense of humour; maybe cryptic at times but still amusing.

I keep looking into this thread every five pages or so for amusement value. I reckon if you took out all the comments that contain squabbling, sniping, arguing and personal abuse and just left the ones that actually relate to redevelopment this thread would be about 20 pages long. 5, if you also exclude the comments where the same point is being made time and again. precisely - some of it is good value but not sure if some take the thread too seriously or just themselves

If only I'd known taking a job abroad for the benefit of my family, would mean I had to stop supporting the Town I would've turned them down ............. your decision though - its an excuse not a reasonI think this post blows whatever little credibility in this argument you thought you had cleanly away..... please give me a break
But you and your lover cricket always want facts so here's some..............l "lover"- your having a laugh - if you just injected a little bit of humour in yr constant tirades it would be better for all. Have never asked for facts at allAverage capacity per division: As you've pointed out before seats do not buy success - are you sure I said this - bit high brow for me.................... I'll be locked out again? Thanks DC. If you are I shall laugh all the way to my seat

The pitch's base is fibre-sand the same as what Fleetwood use, If anybody went to Fleetwood away last year you can see it makes a huge difference. Think we played them when all the pitches were a wreck but there's looked immense.

I've got the week off and foods cooking so I've a few minutes to spare. But please, do carry on overlooking potentially quite important things

Totally irrelevant, dude. Sorry. Unless you're trying to say that crowds are unimportant in the ambitions of a football club?

"Andrew Ellis was very much against what was going on. The Cardozas were strictly about business and development so that was him out the door. Andrew Ellis was only ever a football man."

Evers says:"I think this post blows whatever little credibility in this argument you thought you had." Oh deary me. The irony. You are the last person, EVER, who should question anyones credibility. And, for the record, AMD commented, in one of his first ever posts on this board, that he works outside the UK. Did you assume he made a daily commute? You tube

So if the rumour that the club are unable to build the Hotel and Conference centre on the car park are true, does this leave DC and his cronies looking down from their exposed stilts wondering what to do with the ruin of the East Stand ?

Great news / rumour !
can we spend the money on training facilities, marketing, extra seats, an M.D., merchandise stock etc Basically improve us as football club, which is what we are supposed to be !!!!
if not open a 98p shop as they could be the new craze, afterall 99p shops are thriving, so an extra penny would have em knock down the doors

I actually thought that this was ONE area he (or his father) might actually know what he is doing !
Unfortunately it just highlights why the club under his leadership is £7 million in debt (plus £12 m) and was one player not being sent off (Oxford's best player) and us being non-league, with the worst club shop in the country, now no training facilities at all, etc etc
Now I know that we all make mistakes, it is the easiest thing in the world to point out the failings of others and to make accusations without all the facts but the shortcomings of DC and the running of OUR football club are slowing being revealed for all to see.
We get a carbuncle of restricted views for £5 million, a ticket office smaller than my local post office counter and lots of future promises.
Great post. Sums up the concerns of many. Eager anticipation for 10 years for DC to take the big black chair, finally the moment comes... " And your specialist subject is?"...."development" Beep beep beep......... "And at the end of that round David you have scored 0 points."

'Unable', the same word could be used in two contexts there.

It's been a while since we had 'an update' from the chairman.. Be nice to know what lies ahead for the next few months, ie: be honest if it's not gonna happen, be completed until Xmas...?
