I wasn't aware until today that there was any kind of gagging order preventing the club or others from talking about the stadium development.  I'm still not convinced that this is the case as I can't see for what reason anyone would have for getting an order out to start with.

Nobody is saying we can't talk about it....
There are things the club won't publish though... which means everything on here is just speculation.... which fuels even further confusion.

As I said, things will become clear soon.

Northampton is a football town. Always has been - always will be. !!!!!!!

I think Tuks is basically right but at the moment we have an renowned Rugby Team which grab the headlines. Things can change as they are at Leicester!

There's a lot of people who will only pay to watch top level sport, whether that's football, snooker, motor racing, tennis or whatever.

People who pay to watch lower end stuff do so because they have a strong affinity with it.

Saints are top notch. That's why they get the crowds. If cobblers made it to the prem and we had a ground big enough the crowds would be 20,000 plus.

It's a silly debate, frankly!

With the current broadcasting deal the value of promotion into the Premier League is usually stated as £120,000,000.

I think it's time to start discussing how we're going to spend that.

Are we allowed to know the other party involved with the legal wrangling,

Will the outcome be favourable to NTFC, should
 they win.
If not does that mean further cut backs to the incredible shrinking stand Grin
A tedious situation is getting ever more tedious.

I can imagine some of the conjecture, speculations, hunches  guesses and outright bull5hit got pretty close to the mark?

I reckon the East stand will be demolished by the end of the week, as DC has realised that sbeddscobb and several of his imaginary friends, were right all along.

Those who laughed at them - or otherwise castigated them - will now have to admit that keeping the pressure on - even at this late stage - was fully worth it, because it's never too late.

Just wondering why people are debating whether or not it's a rugby town, that's all...

It's like suggesting that the county's an f1 county because 100,000 people watch the Grand Prix every year!

I kind of know your just looking for some form of bite so frankly I don't know why I've bothered to give you it!  Grin enjoy! X

When we're in the Prem, we can discuss whether it's a Rugby or football town. We can compare numbers at both venues. Until then it's conjecture. All we have to do is get into the Prem. All the Saints have to do is stay there. Their job is the easier one.

The county is a F1 county.

The way that rumour has become fact on here, by this time tomorrow a thread will have started
asking why the club hasn't bid £100m for Neymar yet and why we don't have a helicopter pad on the roof for him!

Am I imagining it, or are you exonerating yourself from the tediousness, conjecture, speculations, hunches  guesses and outright bull5hit, rather than owning up to be one of the prime suppliers of such?
