Take out that laughable side stand and I like Kennelworth Rd. Decent capacity, tight and close to the action and right in the town center.

I thought you might feel left out I'd consider it a compliment that you are drawn to me at the merest hint of my attention, if you come anywhere near the standard I expect of an adversary. Even old Cricktside has taken a kicking of late. Both of you seem to be licking your wounds rather than baring you teeth these days. Ignorance worn down by ignorance. Dream on - in your comfy armchair. You don't like it when you come in for some criticism.

A kicking by Sean Parrish's right foot, eh?

I agree. Yes, it's a s*** hole, but the kind of s*** hole you would love if it were your own. We created more atmosphere there yesterday than we ever can at Sixfields. So many clubs have lost so much with the moves to off the peg, out of town soulless breeze block grounds.

Due to where I work I come into contact with a lot of Luton fans and I do not know of one of them that would agree with you, they'd love a new shines stadium to move into and so would the town itself.

Yes, I appreciate that - I used to work in Luton and there was, even 15+ years ago, a new story every week about a new ground by J10, Kohlerdome etc etc. That said, my work now takes me to Colchester a lot and I don't know a Colchester fan who isn't nostalgic about Layer Road while sitting in their miserable breeze block and corrugated plastic new ground that's impossible for almost everyone in a small town to walk to and has almost no parking. Still, the conference centre is very nice, and I'm sure it's 100% health and safety compliant.

Priceless - what hypocritical, two faced s***e - all the winging about our future being sold down the river and you have the gall to praise Luton's home (a club whose fans have been promised a new ground long before we even moved to Sixfields) - sure those old grounds generate a better atmosphere but seriously Luton's ground represents an opportunity for the club to better themselves? - I think it proves the point anything "Cobblers" you will rubbish and moan about - and everyone else does it/has it better. Didn't you win the Euromillions on Friday - isn't life a bitch?

They have a row of boxes which you want and they have a 10,000 capacity which I'd like or did that part slip past you? It doesn't seem to be hampering them too much does it? Top of the table and no sign of losing that spot. Remind me, when did we last top the table after a sizeable passing of the season, not just a decent first day result?

On yesterdays performance Luton where no great shakes and their forwards hardly more effective than ours. After all it took an ex Cobbler to score! I liked Lutons ground though as it is quite easy to generate atmosphere which our supporters did pretty well. However in this day and age it is an antiquated ground and hardly suitable for for purpose; as Marvo/Bettaboy have so poignantly out pointed it has poor overall facilities. I would also not assume that Luton will top the table(with no sign of vacating it) as for example Pompey (big club ,big support & big tradition) have only got to let out a whimper and shoot up the table. Too early yet to prophesize top of the Table for them. Typically I am loath to write us off just yet as we are a big enough club to do better and who is to say we cannot win a few matches on the trot. I do agree with the former correspondent that he finds your comments at odds with your views on the Dev thread.

We'll say after 10 games, give the table time to settle.
When did we last top the table after at least ten matches of the season?

Silly me I forgot the formula - 10,000 seats equals top of the table.......

Of course they would love a new stadium but ask them specifically if they would want Sixfields. Their idea of a shiny new stadium is nothing like Sixfields now or after DC has finished fu cking it up. (Sorry building the best stadium he can)

Did I say that smiler? I said I liked the ground, then Team Twát all piped up and said how it was a terrible ground. I merely pointed out that they and their terrible ground are looking down on all of us. So do everybody a favour in future and READ what people actually say, not just what you think/want them to be saying.

So do everybody a favour in future and READ what people actually say, not just what you think/want them to be saying. Oh dear - you telling me to read what people actually write! Let's make it clear then, as unlike you I'm happy to answer a direct point. (1) you state you like Luton's ground (2) you repeatedly state you don't like Sixfields or indeed what is happening to it ipso facto - you prefer Luton's ground to Northampton's - which was directly the subject of my response. .....and since you are particular about accuracy - your comments on them and their ground looking down on us from top spot came from a subsequent rather than the same post - your reaction is termed historical hindsight evidence gathering - rarely wins an argument, we'll certainly not from team twat.....

I like their ground. I said that despite it being rubbish it hasn't hampered them. I don't need to win any arguments because me liking their ground is my opinion (and so not open to question by you) and they ARE top of the table, a fact that is not up for discussion. Dunno why you're bringing Sixfields into it other than you're bored and looking for another argument to liven up Sunday night.
