Interesting Nostradamus-style prophecy from John Cleese  in "the Builders" episode of Fawlty Towers:

"I'm just going to see Mr. O'Reilly, dear! And then I think I might go to Canada"

To clarify, it wasn't to highlight the specific details of the issue and didn't cover details of the scale of what needed rectifying, or even if it was a show stopper. The general conversation was more about the goings on at Sixfields towers. It was more the irony of problems with another redevelopment closer to home, literally! He's not had a good couple of years.

The worst year of his life no less!

Front page of the Chron "Seven days to go for the Cobblers to pay back £10.25m" Can't they at least waiver the 0.25 bit, it looks untidy.

The loan agreement stipulates a 5% interest surcharge on unpaid amounts.

Just needed somebody with half a brain , all that for £5.5m. A much better stand than that embarrassment that was being built at Sixfields. DC hang your head in shame you are a waste of space.

Il wait to see what happens next.
It's not long to wait to see if the loan is going to be repaid or not and if not,why not.
For all we know the club may be taken over before then and a new stand built.
Like I say not long to wait......

£5.5m for 2,000 seats? Sounds a bit fishy to me. Who got the joint venture fee?  Tongue

When I see what the Saints have achieved, new stand wise, in so short a time, it makes me absolutely furious.

DC has squandered a unique opportunity to take us forward.
