So, Marquis I take it from your comments that you would keep the ground "as is". Staggering. But, as I keep posting - it is not just about bums on seats but building to create an income stream 7 days a week that makes aspirations to Championship football realistic and most important sustainable. If you stand still in football invariably you end up going backwards.
I did want it built up, I was rather vocal about it on here as you may remember. But these days I basically want whatever annoys Beds the most to happen.

just out of curiosity. Is Hallam Cobbler still around?

He was shown up to be a terrible judge of character and absolutely clueless when it comes to anything related to construction and development.

Being so desperately wrong doesn't seem to have put off some though, who really should leave this thread well alone.

There are many posters who have dipped in and out of the forum over the years.
Duston cobbler/edgy mole etc.
County cobbler
Marvo
Hallam cobbler.

Some probably post on secondary identities(why I don't know) while others I guess pass on.
I wonder how many who posted early on the redevelopment thread are still on here and who we have lost/or have morphed into assumed identities along the way??
There must still be a few who have been on from the start.

Forgive me if i have missed something...

I have seen several articles today in regards to a safe standing area at Sixfields. I assuming this would be for the north stand? What would the benefits be to the club? I guess an increased capacity - roughly how much would this increase?

Is there a place I could read about what the pro's/con's would be for this?

My understanding is this has come from the fans and is a simple case of do fans want it. I dont think it has much of an impact to the club, other than not having to maintain and replace broken seats

I would be happy to see safe standing at sixfields however I'm not sure where it would be installed unless it was part of an extension to the ground, if the north stand hadn't been fitters with new seats then it could have gone there.

Would I use the safe standing? No I would rather sit.  But there's plenty of people who want to and it would get used.  The plus side is most of the twats would use it so at least it's one place where they can all be together.  Just feel a bit sorry for nicer people that want to stand.
