You can only really hope an update keeps you updated, otherwise is it even an update.

Yes, if you are a politician.

Those corners are a different phase to take up the capacity to 30,000.
For £3.5m (speculation and guess work based on previous disclosed costings) I expect a damned sight more than 10 boxes a couple of bogs and a function room.
Who was in the 5500 crowd (1000 strong Cobblers following) when big Jim Hall scored the winner, 1976 at the decrepit Vicarage rd? Another club showing what happens if you steadily build up your clubs stadium and grow the supporters base . Maybe one day the penny drops for us?
Are you seriously talking about the capacity of Sixfields rising to 30,000???!!!

Cardoza managed 10 years with the same council. That was before we pi$$ed them off, so why would anybody assume this is better? In the 19 months that KT has had a controlling stake in NTFC he has changed a lot of things at the club. But he has very little power to push along the necessary permissions he requires to do the work everyone wants to see. Equally, he cannot submit, or speculate about any plans until he knows what he has to work with. I and quite a few others can keep saying this forever just hoping that it sinks in that he is not doing this to pi$$ anyone off. I work most days in this area and would see 16 months as just a start with most reasonably sized projects. With something like this I would be amazed to see anything for years. What does it take to get some people to understand there is no update, there is nothing to say. Just wait, be patient and try to get back to what is our role, namely supporting the team. Once any development is announced, we can all get on his back and push home the decent ground mantra.

Hi Tel, Totally understand what you are saying, again genuine question but what exactly is the delay and lack of power you talk about?
Do you or anybody? know the size and exact location of the land that is causing the hold up? I assume that is the cause of the delay
I find it strange that the council did these massive deal of writing off the £10 million loan to the club but then won't help us build a stand that they lent money to do in the first place. that makes no sense. so again does anyone know?

Hopefully this is not off topic but does anyone know why Chesterfield were so bad last season when they have a newish ground with really good corporate facilities?
Some on here think that exec boxes are the holy grail but it is not as simple as that as many clubs in league 2 with them prove.
Not sure if a bigger ground or exec boxes gives more hope for growth. Ideally it needs both but have to start somewhere, chicken v egg

Because their team were sh!t. Even with a new ground you still have to win games to get the points.

If people can't see that the only person losing money is KT and therefore the person who wants this sorted out more than anybody else is KT and therefore he's hardly going to be dragging his heels on purpose then they must be just about as thick as you can get.
Just to help out - Beds - this person is you.

It took Cardoza 10 years because the deal he wanted had more holes in it than a second hand dart board and he needed the right people to help, if you get what I mean. I am not insinuating KT is dragging his heels one bit but I think he should update the fans like he said he would, even if it's to say still legal issues expect conclusion by x.

Chesterfield seem to be in a real mess off the field with several high profile departures at boardroom level and some financial strife.

No that was the ground of Watford we were talking about, Im looking for an initial increase to 10,000 to allow the club to start growing to one befitting a town of 230,000.

Hes losing money because the ground is too small and haemorrhaging gate revenues. He could work with the club its supporters and the whole of the town to get things moving in a way it would cost him nothing to build up the ground and share out equally any windfall from Sixfields land sales and profit from subsequent sale of a better club. everyones a winner. The simple solution without the uncertainties.
