Im not too bothered about the lack of blue prints but it would be nice to know what he honestly believes would be most beneficial in terms of ground redevelopment and its benefits to the club going forward and would he be open to supporters suggestions if his plans are lacking in areas. This is a question that should never need asking, the fact ntfc trust are playing guess the outcome with fingers crossed again staggers belief.

Do they knock it down and start again or do bits and pieces as developing improvements? It will all depend on how much 5US are intending to put in towards the ground, until then we will have to be a little more patient...

Fcuk me how patient do you want to be? It's been nearly 2 years and nothing has happened apart from screwing a few seats (which were already purchased) into the poxy thing, the stand is an embarrassment to the whole town, it would look bad enough finished let alone a quarter finished. KT needs to cut the bullsh1t presentations and tell it how it is. He's still the chairman and just because he's sold 60% of his stake it doesn't absolve him from any responsibility.

[/quote] Kelvin has never owned 60% of NTFC.

Agreed in part, but he didn't have an unknown quantity of money he can use now did he?

To be honest it's gonna look crap either way but just 'finish' the damn thing so we can move on and close this thread.

Probably the worst post I've ever seen.

Probably the worst post I've ever seen.
I fully anticipate Man04 to be at the forthcoming Trust Meeting to air his views?

Love it or hate it a vast majority of the post is factually correct. It has stood unaltered for two years, the purchased seats have been added and it is an embarrassment. I think it would be unfair to argue any of those points.

Please, please, please Kelvin do not just finish the East Stand as it is. Adding just boxes and cladding to what we have will give us a stand that will delay any true ambition we have to be consistently in the Championship a couple of decades at least. On a selfish note, I probably only have a couple of decades left in me. I know, I know ... out of our hands.

I could live with an East stand containing just a dozen boxes with a restaurant and bar if we could build up 2 bank of terracing directly behind the south and North, leaving the seats in place, giving the ground a more professional and atmospheric feel fit for the championship. I'm sick of looking at those embarrassing little nonleague stands.

To be fair I actually agree with Beds about the stands behind the goals. Not particularly about his suggestions but more about the way they look. A little "tinpot".

You can't just have realised that Kett, surely?

Building an impressive East Stand and making it the new main Stand is still the best option by far. The end stands have been an embarrassment for donkeys years.

I've realised it before but only really thought about it properly recently with this whole saga. We were always told it was piss easy to stick another tier on them...

With hindsight that was probably BS or what could have been added to it was as Mickey Mouse as the existing.

It all comes down to cost and do the present incumbents have the financial clout and the stomach to pay vast sums to rebuild the shambolic east stand and if they did how crippling would the debts be carried forward by NTFC? The silence speak volumes to me, which is fine as long as they realise doing jack 5hit and playing for time won't be a comfortable alternative. The latest 'time buying' strategy I read was of a posible 'Chinese master plan for the ground.' Oh how we will lap that one up for the next decade before we realise we've been had again😂. As boring and repetitive as this may sound our only realistic alternative is to build up the ground cheaply as I've previously suggested in the 3 stages, South Stand terracing , East stand boxes and North stand terracing, funded using future incomes from ST sales and debentures which give value to those buying in advance. Any short fall in future income will be made up from new STH holders attracted to an atmospheric more professional looking ground and the vast amount of visiting fans currently turned away due to capacity. In the continuing absence of anything tangible coming from KT or a Chinese master plan would anyone be against such an idea? Considering this will be a collective effort for and by the supporters of NTFC, it will give us the same pride as those that helped shape the fabulous franklin gardens.
