Great post Everbrite , the whole reason we are in this mess now

As said above fans who cannot see how our crappy ground and a slow acting chairman, unwilling to grow our club without big favours from NBC affects ultimately what happens on the pitch and how it is far more important than one game at home mid season.

Ok be concerned about The game but have to emailed JFH and told him your ideas, requested a meeting so you can run through the team line up??

I am sorry but to me the football club feels the same as it did in many of DCs final years ( before we want answers). Is it a coincidence that the lack of off field plans and time spent treading water ( after doing some painting and knocking a hole in the loos) that we are struggling at the bottom of the league?
If it not for the positive hangover from the league 2 winners we would have been relegated last season , now we are in the bottom 4 and just suffered our biggest defeat at Sixfields.  That generally does not happen when everyone is united and forging ahead, as in every business, if you stand still, you go backwards.

Hi Drilling but there are a few things IMHO regarding KT that I have issues with

1. Gained control of club by agreeing with council to finish East stand with £3 m and indicated that this would start almost immediately. Hence why NBC removed £10m debt to NTFC

2. Removed the Trusts board member

3. Not paid back the £10k to the trust as agreed

4. Sold out the club shop to his mates as he done when at Oxford

5 made little changes to office staff and facilities

6 said our club is small and basically is not worth expanding

7 in two years has not even suggested what he wants to do with the club

8 appointed two crappy, uninspiring, safe and dull managers

9 every transfer is undisclosed

10 repeats history with moaning about NBC and asking for the Trust support

There's a start,  I suppose it is a pipe dream but I want a chairman who believes in Northampton, it's history, the opportunity, the possibilities, who then sets about getting the best people in to build up a club for the Championship.  I said many times in DC days about Burton, they achieved it with no fans and no history but with a great chairman and world class training facilities.

Typical response from you all justification. Of course you miss the point which is time and place for everything, vent your views after the match.

Most of you lot should be more concerned about AFC tomorrow than making pointless comments on KT and Redev.

For a moment there I thought I'd experienced a timeslip!  Grin Shades of Evers past Cheesy

Who was Deborah June James???  A google search of the name reveals that she was a director of the Con Wilson Organisation.

Now as some of you will know, the Con Wilson organisation was one of the biggest shareholders in the football club outside of the owners.

The last annual return shows that the organisation owned 234,854 ordinary voting shares in NTFC Limited. However the latest confirmation statement registered at Compnies house for NTFC shows that NTFC Ventures have had transferred in the exact number of shares in the football club.

So it looks like the Con Wilson Organisation have sold/transferred their shares to NTFC Ventures. This in turn has meant that NTFC Ventures now own more than 75% of the shares in the football club and were registered as a "relevant legal entity with significant control" just three weeks ago.

David Bower resigned as a director of NTFC Ventures six days before that, but still remains a director of the football club.

What does it all mean??!!

A good time to get out
The clubs at a very low ebb and odds on to be relegated
The stand is basically the same shell as when they took over.
The south car park will soon be lost.

The fans have no idea who'll be left in charge and haven't heard any statements from the Chinese owners despite them being at the club a couple of weeks back....

I've tried being optimistic for a few weeks and look where that's got me....

Let me be the first to give my opinion on this....
We may well be finished within a year.
Bankrupt,liquidated,kaput.
I've heard nothing to allay any concerns and everything's gone quiet.
I very much hope I'm wrong but there is a precedent at this club when things go very quiet.....
The calm before the storm.......

I think at the moment i would be quite happy that we start from scratch!

I suspect there is an announcement of some description around the corner.

I believe its a bad sign when a Chinese "group" take over (to a degree so far). Very few clubs who have suffered this process have benefitted. And many have actually suffered...(not just Chinese investors). However KT had a captive audience about what, a year ago? The club wouldn't exist, so if he sellsonand makes a few quid I don't think we can bitch about it.

I wondered what was going on there but just because he is not a Director doesn't mean he is no longer a shareholder in NTFCV.

That’s more like a positive attitude; even if it is a mugs game.

Didn’t you say that KT has agreed to a meeting with you and others in a week or so - hopefully this can be addressed at that time? To be honest the way these things work I wouldn’t be at all surprised if an announcement/update comes out the day before your meeting to preempt what you are hoping to discuss!

I don't think people being offended by you referring to people as pan heads makes them part of a left wing PC brigade.

Not everyone drinks tea out of an Oswold Mosley mug and sleeps in a Red Hand of Ulster duvet.
