I think it's fair to question KT now. He's had enough time.

After the apathy and lack of pressure on Cardoza (the rest is history) I'd hope that goes without saying. Once bitten.... In his defence, he always replies to questions. Whether people like the answers or not is a different matter!

I agree with your post. I think some people are still just happy he saved the club. Which isn't reason to give him a free pass.

For those not wanting expansion, OR saying that it isn't justified…
Does the council play ball and give KT the control of the land he craves for?
Simple question. Yes or No?
Personally I am not saying I don’t want expansion or it isn’t justified. What I am saying is that in our current situation we can’t get the money without someone securing assets against the debt. No I wouldn’t hand over control of the land unconditionally. What am asking is irrespective of where from, how much are we looking to raise and how long before we pay it back and start getting an ROI? That is unless the proposal is we are gifted the money? Beds keeps writing post after post but he won’t answer the question which shines like a beacon warning of the bullsh1t to follow. I am personally not sure of KTs motives but I think it’s a fair assumption that he’s not in it for love? However, given that Beds wont be honest and answer the questions put to him, he can hardly accuse anyone of being straight? Basically the t1t has run his mouth off and realised as soon as he answers them his life’s work turns to sh1t? However, fear not dear friends, whilst he keeps criticising others, I’ll keep asking the questions and ensure the bullsh1t beacon keeps shining.

You do know we will get the investment needed as soon as Thomas and co sell up.. Being denied any sort of investment these past 25 years can not continue and has now come to a point that it wont be tolerated by not just our support base but all those Northamptonians regardless their affiliations to other clubs, even the NBC... who all have sympathy to our inability to grow and change for the better. Whether it be owners who assist with a series of small trust led self financed community efforts or by new owners who have some financial clout with an interest to see our club grow, it will happen and very soon. I fully believe there are several groups out there who would jump at the chance to get involved to different degrees but sadly while land leases are being fought for and fully protected no one will be getting a look in and probably go elsewhere.
All this 5su sport and sultans of ping fc ventures are doing Northampton town and its future no favours.
I fully expect a big announcement in the summer so we can all regroup with a real exciting prospect to get some buzz going throughout our town and county.
Bullsh1t alert, how much do we need to raise over how long?

Why do we keep talking of extra seats being added, nothing will happen they haven't the money or the desire to do it they just want the land behind the east stand make loads of money then leave with full wallets nothing more.

Righty oh here goes todays lesson.. NTFC are 120 years old and will still be around for another 120, long after we're all gone and hopefully this long running thread. So by return of investment do you mean for short term high yield speculators or investment into building up our clubs infrastructure going into the future? Obviously those at the helm now have made there case quite clear for no investment as investing when your not sticking around isnt viable and just want to take the land, which I sincerely hope they dont get one blade of undeserved grass. Or do you mean investment return on steady sustainable growth over a period of time, several years which is a very small amount of time for a 120 year old club? Or even a wealthy group with a bit excess funds to speculate on a sporting club that has some potential? Things are not always black and white or belong in a profits and loss column. Its been a pleasure to educate you.

No, what I mean is how much money do you think the club will need to fulfil your aspirations and how long do you think it will take to pay it back. Nothing more, nothing less? Educate me further, please.

My fighting talk of last week ground to a bit of a halt. Unfortunately, a training injury to my leading hand stopped me from keyboard warrioring for a while.
However, I wish to thank those that responded to my challenging post of last week. Your support of any part of my rant is appreciated. Your questioning of the rest is the difference between those that "win" and those that "lose".
Given how you felt about my post of last week, and what happened on Saturday, do you think that pumped-up feeling makes things better or worse?

.....and may I say that, given the current situation, the Trust has no purpose or meaning any more.
It is clear that our keyboard warriors and intellectuals have no reason to fight anything of any significance with any power. Not that this board has any power.
Thus, it would be best to disband the Trust.
Any dissenting voices against the major shareholders behind the football club can than go and whistle in the wind.
Any overly negative views against the current ownership may then be met with the Rushden & Diamonds syndrome.
As a mystery poster previously pointed out, our best future may thus lead to becoming a Phoenix club.
A rock and a hard place.....
Unless you just want to turn up on a match day and enjoy the spectacle & atmosphere.
I love you all.

Total respect to you for asking that! Despite me pulling your plonker so many times...... I really, really respect you for asking that. Yes, all is well with me, and always has been. If anything is wrong with me, it will be shown by me agreeing with dross. But, I will always touch the edge for those that follow my train of thought. I will always pull your leg, though. please be prepared for that. But, I just get wound up sometimes by those who don't really say what they mean. To those that may not realise this, I have sudden;y fallen in love with Everbrite!
