People using the word 'progressive' on here must be up there with how annoying the word 'literally' is used in every day life.
The other one during last season was referring to a 'quarterback', wrong shaped ball.
It literally drives me insane.  Tongue

Quiet news day on the redevelopment front.....
It’s been a quiet few years

Progressive, The meaning of.. To be more like Peterborough Rotherham Watford Doncaster etc.
Non progressive like Northampton Town literally never do anything because they've been told 'its ok for now' and are in need of keeping quarterback O'Toole if they are ever to escape league 2 and literally show more progressing

If he sells players to realize cash potential then I am not sure he will have left the club in a better position. Short term maybe but long term we may struggle to maintain our League status. I admire your attempt to predict his intentions; something I am unable to do. Relegarion must have been a hammer blow to his ambitions here…
Isn't Relegarion a resort in Cornwall?  Tongue

Got to say, you are spot on with the pathetic mis-use (generally by middle-class English Millennial females) of 'Literally'  Sad

Good one.
Have you noticed that everything is a hub these days? If we called it Sixfields Football Hub we might get a grant from the council.

Hadnt thought about developing the roof... we should put a roof terrace with a pool and a bar like they have at the Gabba!

That’s progress, allows you to get p1ssed up and have a p1ss without missing a second of the action, allegedly?

Genuine question... Do you have any examples of grounds that have this set up? I'm struggling to picture how it wont make our ground look more non league than it apparently does now

The only ground with terracing behind seating I have seen is Moss Rose, Macclesfield. Possibly the worst stand you could ever design. All other stands with mixed accommodation have seating above terracing which makes sense.

I admire Beds passion but thankfully his design ideas are total gash and wont happen.

The Stacey West stand at Lincoln was originally the home end and had seats in the centre with terracing either side. It looked weird!!
They then made it the away end taking the seats out for it to be an all terracing stand, and then finally they put all seats in it later on.

Thats the only ground, that i have been too, where as an away fan, I have been in three different sides of the ground.

You need to realise that if you were to drastically modify what we have, nothing would ever get done due to costs, my suggestions are based on the most cost effective way to build up our stadium to look professional and atmospheric which most importantly  allow us to grow the club and challenge out side league 2.
Whats the difference between standing behind seats as opposed to the other way around?
Leaving the south stand exactly as it is and just build a bank of terracing up behind is our only hope to avoid returning to league 1 with our embarrassing  non league ground.
Exile, You forgot to enlighten us as to what the alternative is? Doing fook all needs not apply😉😂

embarrassing  non league ground.

Evidently you've never actually been in a non league ground, either that or you've never been to Sixfields.

Neither would surprise me.

edited because wrong quote
