Tom we already have a progressive owner!

He has progressed his personal wealth and is well on the way to even more now NBC has fallen into line.

Don't forget he also put seats in East stand at an obvious cost of the £4m and knocked in a second bog door.

Wow we are so lucky to have him rather than a chairman who wants all these sharing funding schemes and involves the fans etc.

Cobblers fans enjoy your visit to Accrington this season, oh wait a minute.... they have progressed to league 1 whilst we are where???

Wow - so much sarcasm you sound like a beaten man

Has he? Maybe from other ventures but I doubt via his investment in NTFC to-date

When did KT say the works carried out to date cost £4m?

For every Accrington, there's an MK Dons who have made enormous investment off the pitch and have since made no more progress than NTFC

Some thoughts/questions.

I haven't decided where I stand on KT, by the way, and won't do until we see what happens once the lease paperwork is signed.

Yes. I was wondering the same. What's the answer, Clarkey? He's told you of the multiple options suggested to develop the surrounding land, so surely he's filled you in with a stadium update, right?

Andy Holt Accrington Chairman a good example of a progressive club owner.

They have a new stand going up as we speak, planning going in on a new training ground.

Also looking at different funding routes for infrastructure.

Yes, all under written with the security of What More UKs 55 million turnover. This is not a difficult concept, ability to finance is linked to ability to secure against the debt. No security, no finance.

You seem to have forgot to tell me the names of the "most non league clubs now have corporate boxes". You defeat your own argument every time by stating something as a fact when everyone can see is incorrect.
I'll wait for the list of those non league clubs  Wink
At no time did I state every single little non league clubs have corperate boxes but many do which doesn't excuse us for being a 1970s throwback.

Hasn't commented on another professional team in Europe having a stadium for 3.3% of the surrounding population either (Alanyaspor), something that apparently doesn't exist.
Alanyspor is in asia, and probably a suburb of Istanbul , good try though😂
Are you the person who thinks Cheltenham and Gloucester and several little towns near by are one the same conurbation? Not such a good effort 😣

Speaking right now from Istanbul I can assure you Alanyspor is most definitely not a suburb here but a small provincial town in the south with a very small ground for a professional football club - probably that size because the club whilst ambitious still has to live within the means of its income and what its owner is prepared to spend on that ambition - their fans might not like it but it’s somewhat simply called the real world.

oh dear, not changing the criteria retrospectively again are we? Just to be clear, how have you elevated the catchment area of NTFC to 300,000?

Hopefully Alanyspor clear the decks of these time wasters keeping their club subjected to zero growth and go onto achieving  parity with there more progressive neighbours and stop being a joke club.

220,000 plus living within the borough boundaries and a further 80,000 plus within 10 miles, our immediate catchment.

Actully Alanyspor have a 10,500 capacity and only 98,000 population.
40% more than us with 130,000 less inhabitants 😂😂
Looks a lovely place by the coast.

To quote you "most non league clubs now have corporate boxes" so I've asked you to name them, is that difficult ?

As I said when DC was threatening us with bankruptcy (years before he nearly did !) if he didn't get the development, corporate boxes make little difference to the success of a football club especially if most other aspects are poorly run.

ahçeşehir Okulları Stadium Capacity 10,130
Alanya Population 291.643 (according to the Alanya official page)
3.4%
Using your 10 mile radius includes Mahmutlar with a population of 15,000+
3.3%

Difference is between us if I actually research and use facts and not opinions hidden as facts

Maybe I have misunderstood then as I'm not an astute businessman (nor at uni before people pick up on my username) but wasn't the issue with the land resolved by taking land off of the CDNL lease owned by KT and giving / only having it on the lease owned by the club.

To me that sounds like the owners have given land back to our club not taken it from our club?

Brilliant!

Prepare for the tenuous excuse again though. This time it will be because Mahmutlar is 10 miles and 3 yards away or summat? Great laugh though all this?
