He is 4 days late!!
You do realise that court cases aren't as simple as you make out. For one, local media won't receive court lists from Birmingham, so it may take a while for the news to filter through. Secondly, how do you know that any person tipping off the local media didn't tell them that the first three days were boring procedure? I've attended trials where whole days have been dedicated to determining the smallest of legal details, none of which are relevant to actual reporting of cases. It doesn't appear that we've missed any testimony from what I can see, but in any case local media could apply for transcripts from the first three days to scrutinise as to whether anything substantial may have been missed.

Any idea why the Chron is not reporting on the Court Case between NBC & The Cardoza's? Its being reported on on Radio Northampton.
It was mentioned on the Radio yesterday that Cardoza Senior said the trust knew about his £2m loan to the club and he was just taking his money back
Think it's also worth clarifying what local BBC reporter Matt Precey actually said about the Trust from yesterday's proceedings. Here is his tweet: Morgan: Supporters Trust had car boot sales to raise club funds, ‘busting a gut’ to help out NTFC. But their rep wasn’t told about Anthony’s director’s loan repayments. Break for lunch.Link here: https://twitter.com/mattcprecey/status/1014844263014813697

This for me is where the council have been negligent . They issued the loan in full without , it appears specifying exactly how it should be spent and tracking thereafter . Surely using public money to pay off a personal loan is fraudulent ?
I simply don’t understand how the council would have failed to be both vigilant and diligent with regards to that amount of public money? If I didn’t know better I would suspect it was almost a deliberate act, who was in charge?

They have just questioned Snr Cardoza about the Hotel Section and he stated that he wasnt involved - It was Gossman, Patnick & MacIntosh.... I think there is your answer about the council - MacIntosh

Reporting accurately could help; The difference between what you said and what was actually said could have influenced many on here in their opinion of the Trust's involvement, some on here would use it as another stick to beat them with. We have enough conjecture, truth economicals, mis-heards, mis-quotes, invented and down right lies on here already.

Good point. Does anyone know the legal ramifications of commenting on this case. Particularly if any of the details end up used in a criminal case. Would urge caution at any conjecture. We need justice.

The Chronicle won't have the funds to publish anything potentially legally contentious. There is a nagging doubt that would things have got quite so far with some dogged investigative journalism from the off. I would argue that individual fans were actually uncovering stuff as effectively if not better than the press. Herald and Post now defunct actually uncovered some juicy stuff and were brave in their reporting on a tiny budget. BBC late to the party but going great guns now. Look forward to David Cardoza being cross examined.

Don't sound much like a "we took our eye off the ball" apology to me. It's the Chron mate... We expect it to be late, inaccurate, plagiarised etc

You would have thought this was a major story but it isn’t being picked up by local media at all . Have they been caught out and didn’t know it was happening or are they running scared ? How long is this due to run for do we know and will Grossman be called to the dock ?
They're definitely running scared, mate. I was one of those writing letters for a long time before the Cardozas' bubble actually burst, and it wasn't just NBC who didn't want to acknowledge there was a problem. Don't worry though, because once this is all in the bag, local media will be trumpeting their part in bringing this all to light. #latetotheparty ETA: I exclude the late and lamented Herald & Post from any criticism, as they were the only local media willing to do any digging. R.I.P. Northampton's top newspaper.

I did not call you a liar, I requested that you reported accurately. The remainder was a general warning to all others providing updates on this case for the benefit of all, which is greatly appreciated. Legally, if it is being reported from a reliable source; (BBC, C&E etc...) as long as you do not include a libellous/slanderous 'interpretation' in addition to that report I would assume that you are on solid ground. However do not quote me, I am involved in legal issues but not a qualified expert. The Moderators will censure/remove any remarks that we believe are not posted in that spirit, WITHOUT NOTICE, but do not expect us to be your safety net for your comments, we are not on here 24/7, we do have day jobs! I'm simply using my experience in the sector that we're talking about to explain why these things aren't quite as cut and dried as people think.

I'm finding it at times odd that this QC isn't asking some follow up questions to some of Anthony's answers. Maybe the BBC reporter isn't quite able to keep up though with his tweets and is missing things or the QC just isn't asking them. Morgan: you aware docs show late payments, creditors chasing club at that time Anthony: I was told money was surplus Shouldn't the follow up here be 'told by who?' There's lots of similar statements like this throughout today and yesterday. Quite frustrating.

Will be interesting if they/he does appear. There seems to be a lot of bad blood between the Cardoza and Grossman, legal action and gagging orders mentioned. So AC has admitting taking back over £2m as pay back for some of his previous loans to the club but hasn’t made the connection between the councils loan and the money taken back as being one and the same?

I can see current club employees being embroiled into this, given that the Captain has already claimed that our chief executive knew certain things. Things could get a tad awkward! As for the rumoured take over, I said back in March/April time KT would be gone by the start of this coming season with zero building works completed. Regardless of whether or not the rumours are bu11sh1t or not, Id be absolutely and utterly amazed if anything happens until he's bailed out. I simply cannot see him sticking around for another 2 years or so when realistically if he's got the paperwork sorted him and Bowyer could walk away financially intact and forget that the last 2 years existed. Thats what Id be doing if I was him!
